I had the pleasure of dining at Ember Kitchen + Cocktails, and it was an experience worth savoring. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for an enjoyable evening.
Food: The food was outstanding and beautifully presented. The pizza, with its crispy crust and perfectly balanced toppings, was a standoutâfresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The cocktail I tried was refreshing and thoughtfully crafted, topped with a delightful dried citrus garnish that added a visual and aromatic appeal. The dessert, a slice of tres leche cake adorned with fresh strawberries and blueberries, was the ideal way to round off the mealâlight, airy, and bursting with natural sweetness. The Nashville Hot chicken is a must try. Not too spicy with a perfect balance of sweetness. My husband had the steak. It was slightly overcooked but the waitress did offer us another one.
Service: The service at Ember was exceptional. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring every need was met promptly. They were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to make thoughtful recommendations, which added to the overall positive experience.
Ambiance: The elegant yet relaxed ambiance of the restaurant, complemented by the polished marble table settings, enhanced the dining experience. Every detail, from the menu design to the plating, reflected care and quality.
Ember Kitchen + Cocktails is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food, innovative cocktails, and stellar service in a sophisticated setting. Iâm already looking forward to...
Read moreHad Sunday brunch today. Arrived just before our 11 AM reservation & were first in the restaurant. It was my first visit and anxious to try the food I had heard good reviews about. I ordered grits & grillades and a shrimp remoulade.
I was quickly informed that they were out of my entree dish and there were only 10 other patrons total in the place.
So I ordered the crabmeat omelette instead. After a few minutes my dishes cane out at the same time. My salad had 5 shrimp & a ton of greens. My omelette was getting cold. So I ate the shrimp which barely had any remoulade sauce on them. I proceeded to eat my now barely warm omelette with crab meat. After 5 shells in the first few bites I was done.
I had brought all this to the attention of our waitress with only a reply that she was "sorry".
With the hype & the prices, needless to say I was very disappointed. I expected better food & service.
Respectfully submitted, Jack...
Read moreWe visited Ember for a date night and overall had a decent experience. The atmosphere is definitely niceâmodern, upscale, and perfect for a more formal evening out. That said, itâs not a kid-friendly spot, which was fine for our purposes but something to keep in mind.
One downside was how closely packed the tables were. We could clearly hear conversations from both sides of us, which made it hard to stay focused on our own. It took away from the intimate vibe we were hoping for.
We both ordered drinks, and unfortunately, they were way too strongânot balanced enough to be enjoyable, which was a letdown. The food was alright. Portions were decent and presentation was nice, but nothing stood out as particularly memorable.
Overall, Ember is a solid option if youâre looking for a âfancyâ date night location with a nice ambiance. Just donât expect the best food or cocktails in town. Great for the vibe, not necessarily...
