The food is probably very good. The service terrible. I am writing this review purely for the management of this restaurant. I fly threw Houston regularly and I finally had a layover with some time to eat. I've walked passed 3rd bar a few times and thought I'd finally give it a try. Being one of the more advertised foods I thought I'd try the oysters. Upon ordering, 20 minutes after I'd say down, I was informed I could not order the oysters. When I inquired as to why I was informed the restaurant was to busy and no one working was able to Schuck the oysters. I was understanding but disappointed and told my server I would have a salad. She returned promptly with my salad however was not attentive after serving it. I will say the restaurant was half full and it seemed there was only 2 servers a bartender and a cook staff. This being said my drink sat empty long after I had first been served it. When it was finally refilled no other inquiries for service were made and although I had intended on having more than a salad, prior inquiries of the oysters with the salad, I was presented my check without asking for it and before I was finished. I promptly paid and left. The food seems as if it would be good. Training in service is...
Read moreUnfriendly, Overpriced, and Disappointing Airport Experience My recent visit the Line Sports Bar at Houston Airport was incredibly disappointing. I understand that airport prices are generally higher, but this place takes advantage of travelers in an egregious way. I paid approximately $15.00 for a very basic nacho appetizer that felt entirely overpriced for what it was. Basic nachos with no meat or salsa. Even more shockingly, a small, ungarnished Bloody Mary set me back around $17.50. For that price, I expect a drink that's not only well-made but also presented with some care – this was just a plain drink in a glass. The overall experience felt like they were actively taking advantage of a captive audience. When you're stuck in an airport with limited dining options, you hope for at least a decent meal or drink for your money. Unfortunately, this establishment delivered neither. The staff also seemed unfriendly, adding to the negative atmosphere. I truly felt ripped off and would advise fellow travelers to avoid this place if possible. It's a prime example of an establishment prioritizing profit over customer satisfaction and basic value. For 1 person...
Read moreI visited this airport restaurant/bar today 3/17/25. First when I came in there was no one to help. I waited and then sat down. A very nice sweet lady came and answered my questions. She was nice, the men? Not impressed
I paid almost $30 for eggs bacon potatoes and coffee. Now I know airport food is expensive and not the best. But for $30 ya’ll could do better. Nothing on my plate was good. And the coffee tasted burnt. How do you burn coffee. I went to the bar and advised the coffee was not good and tasted burnt. The man as unbothered as he possibly could be “what would you like” I just said a coke not to bother him any further. He put it on the bar with a straw said here u go and continued about his business. At least acknowledge what I said to you and be polite. He didn’t offer me another coffee or advise they could prepare me a new one. At 8 in the morning yes I’d like a nice coffee for my $30 bill. Lol. I have low standards for airport restaurants but come on now !!
The lady was nice, good for her for being pleasant this morning. This is why service is not one star or zero if...
