Yesterday my partner and I stopped for a drink before our flight. Service was fine until I asked for the bill- the bar tender then took my card and charged it. I asked what the total was and he looked annoyed and said “oh was $37 and thats why I asked you wanted a texted receipt.” I’m a server myself and would never charge someone with out first telling them the tab. He was really rude to us after and kind of glared at us while we waited for our flight.
The man next to us asked if he could leave a tip and female bartender said an 18% had already been included. To which he was surprised and understandably felt awkward about. The lady then asked he wanted to cancel the tip in front of everyone which was just awkward. He was upset and just walked away. At this point we could hear both the other bartenders on the other end of the bar talking about how “they don’t need his money anyways.” It was clear they hate their clients and if you don’t enjoy service they should find different jobs.
If I wasn’t already so uncomfortable I would have liked my %18 tip back too (that I did not know would be added in this first place). Please teach your employees some transparency general customer...
Read moreOrdered an Impossible burger here, which I've had probably over 100 Impossible burgers before? Love them. It showed up and I took a bite, realizing that it was beef. It tasted like actual beef, not like Impossible. And it was large in the middle and uneven, like a meat burger. I've been a vegetarian for most of my life, and didn't eat meat for 20 years before this, so I know it was meat. The staff said it was the Impossible burger, but when I described how it's supposed to be they shrugged and said they had never eaten one and had no idea what it was supposed to be like--but also insisted it was this. They did refund the money for the burger, while still insisting it's an Impossible burger (but they also don't know what it's like themselves, so...) Serving meat instead of a veggie burger is uncool, but insisting it's correct when it's not is just... a real vibe. Negative stars.
Oh - I was also served a caesar salad before this with no fork and no dressing on it, but I wasn't even mad...
Read moreThe staff at this location are lazy and liars. Myself and 3 other strangers, all looking for a restaurant in the terminal still open at 21:05 in the evening, sat down at after being told by several other restaurant hostesses that H Burger was open until at least 21:30. No sooner than we sat down a rude little girl behind the bar said “we’re closed” I told her I looked at their hours online and they said they were open until 22:00, and her response was “we’re closed”. No “I’m sorry but…”, “Unfortunately, the hours are incorrect” just a matter of fact “we’re closed”. Hopefully the franchisee sees this review and realizes how much rev he’s potentially losing every night because of the evening staff, when they could be capitalizing on a solid hour that they claim they’re open online when every other restaurant in the...
