YEP, THAT'S RIGHT. Yet another FIVE STAR REVIEW. You think all of those positive reviews are a hoax? Think again. This place lives up to the hype. The inside atmosphere is cute and modern. BTS Playlist is POPPING. I didn't even like them before I came in. Service was warm, welcoming & informative. But that aint what I came for. I came for the chicken. Let me tell you... I WOULD DIE FOR THIS CHICKEN. We came for dinner and bet your behind we gonna be back for lunch tomorrow!! CRUNCH on 💯 JUICY on 💯 FLAVOR on 💯 Even the curly fries were the best I have ever had 😭 Only way to explain this is sorcery. I live no where near here and willing to take the drive to come back. Try it! Swear you won't regret it!!! Ps. I always try taking good pics, but we had a sample of the sauce and couldn't wait to dig in. Pic was post 4 wings deep.
UPDATE(since Google won't let me review a second time.) Like we said we would, we went back for lunch today to try the drumsticks. That chicken that makes you want to slap ya mama? THAT'S THIS CHICKEN MMKAY. Satisfying crunch, dripping juices of deliciousness. I tried the red hot which is their 3 chili spicy garlic and BOY HOWDY. That flavor is serving SASS YA HEARD. So addictive you don't mind the burn 😉 My man's got the lemon pepper and has said it is the most top tier lemon pepper he has had yet! Not to mention the sheer SIZE of these drumsticks-- will show standard fork for comparison. 3 massive drumsticks for $10?? Again. I would die for this chicken. Thank you...
Read moreAmong the best Korean Fried Chicken in Houston, and with that variety, price and portion they are really worth the bang for your buck! I got the chicken gizzard with the cheongyang sauce - highly recommend this for anyone who wants something creamy, sweet & a little sour with a kick! It's super addictive, and the staff let me try the sauce before ordering. The chicken gizzard still stays crunchy and not overcooked or overly chewy. The portion is crazy (see pic below for my 8.5 dollars/3 drum sticks, I only finished 1 because they were so big), and everything remains super juicy (it was wonderfully crispy & dripping juice that king of juicy when it first came out) crispy and there is still some crunch after being carried around for 8 hours by me in a box. Their soy-garlic is smoky and has a little kick which makes them rival BBQ. I saw that they have a lunch combo and that's a lot of food for the cost! The staff is SUPER nice - like some of the nicest staff I have met. They are super honest too - they did tell me that food would be out in about 20 minutes as they freshly cooked them (I think I got the chicken gizzard quite early in actually). It has a cute interior too and not too loud music. Y'all better keep this spot open and busy because it was not full when I got there on a Saturday late lunch and...
Read moreVisited 92 Chicken for lunch and order two 10-piece wings sets with four different flavors: Garlic Spicy, Soy Garlic, Hot BBQ, and Lemon Pepper, along with a side of Sweet Potato Fries. There’s a $2 charge for choosing multiple flavors, which is good to know in advance.
While the chicken wings were flavorful and well-prepared, the overall experience was dampened by the long wait time. We waited at least 30 minutes for our food, despite it not being particularly busy during lunch hours during our visit. It would’ve been helpful if the staff had informed us about the wait when we placed our order, as better communication would have managed expectations.
The Sweet Potato Fries arrived looking visibly burnt and tasted the same. When we brought it to up the server, she mentioned that’s how they usually come, but she kindly offered to have a new batch made. The second serving tasted much better, crispy and lightly sweet, without the burnt flavor.
Overall, the 92 Chicken serves delicious Korean fried chicken, but the lack of communication about wait times made the experience less enjoyable. Still, it’s a spot worth considering if you’re craving wings and...
