New review. 11/25/24- I have been dining and order take away and order through delivery services from this restaurant for many, many years. Over the last couple years The quality hasn’t always been the best, but I still always support because the food is usually still good and they have many veggie options and are close to where i live. I tried to order over the phone a couple months ago but the woman who answered the phone hung up on me twice. Whenever the older man answers he always recognizes my voice and is very nice. Today is the last day i can support this business. I decided to order through Uber eats today. I ordered tofu spring rolls and veggie tofu pho. The tofu doesnt always taste the freshest including today and previous orders. I bit into one of my spring rolls to find a long, dark black hair that was rolled into it. I was instantly disgusted and spit out my food. I also had to pull out rotten/wilted lettuce out of the first spring roll That was hair free. I am now going to have to waste the pho because i am disgusted by the spring rolls and dont want to take a chance with the pho. I contacted uber eats and they refunded my order thankfully. It sucks because i have been supporting this small business for 10 plus years but with the quality steadily going down and now this i wont return.

Best tofu spring rolls and veggie pho in the area!...

Omg...both the food and service was fairly appalling. I truly do not mind paying high prices as long as there is basic, fundamental quality of food and service. In Houston, there is no shortage of quality Pho restaurants... so Spring Rolls and regular beef Pho should not be a tall order for any restaurant to stay competitive just a few miles from Houston's Asiatown.

Firstly, the spring rolls were served with EXTREMELY warm peanut sauce. I have not only been eating Vietnamese food in Houston for 30 years but I have also been to Vietnam. I have NEVER had warm peanut sauce served with cold spring rolls. The rolls were very underwhelming, warm sauce not withstanding. The Pho was extremely disappointing... non-descript and the beef was flavorless with a funky texture...and overall the pho just didn't taste right...old? stale? I hate to be so vague, but there was nothing positive here. I was seething inside when having to pay the check. I am always more than happy to overpay when a restaurant is worth it. I have no clue why this restaurant has such positive ratings.

Oh yeah... I have really never cared enough to take the time to write a restaurant review....this is my first online review. Yes, it...

My friends and I were regulars, but we're never going back there again. When my friend asked the waitress (whom I think the mother of the family) for water, she kept ignoring. We raised our voice to call her, and she turned around and gave the meanest look. My friend didn't order any food, but my other friend and I did. We even asked her if she was mad and if she's okay, but she almost yelled at us and said "What? Yes! I'm VERY VERY OKAY!" When we were paying, I told a guy who works there that we didn't like her attitude and we're not coming back again, and the guy told us that he didn't like us coming either because we normally paid the bills separate. He also accused us for being rude to the "old Asian lady" even though we're Asians ourselves. We asked for a freaking cup of water in a nice way. Maybe, she didn't like us raising our voice to call her, but what choice did we have since she ignored us first? When I told him we just asked for a cup of water, he said he’s sorry to upset customers like us. I have never experienced any restaurants that are rude to their...

Its a Pathetic Place !!! Customers are not entertained well !!! There closing time is 9 so even if a customer walks in at 8.30... they are turned away with reasons its closing time/ kitchen closed/ not taking orders.. They don't even bother asking for any assistance... That's a rude way of doing business in America... Must Avoid this place.. They should remove the Sign board of OPEN from their door and replace it with a a big sign board outside their restaurant... Please do not enter after 8.30 unless you have pre ordered and have come for pick up... or unless you will be embarrass to walk away with nothing..

I've been here a few times. Got their famous sandwich, long story short, it tasted funny/off. Open the sandwich was disgusted. The food was not fresh at all. Got me sick. Nausea led to vomiting had to leave work. Went back and told them what happened. They basically didn't care. Never going back there. Go to Le Viet instead. Way better food, zagat rated, same prices, better atmosphere, courteous staff. Less than a minute away. It wasn't about the money Pho 1( more like Pho Zero), it was about the respect you show customers. Keep the change.
