The cajun- vietnamese concept is great. A spectrum of choices available. A nice place to spend your time while waiting for your next flight. Located in the United terminal C of IAH (right next to C6) is a great little fusion restaurant named "Bam Bam". I especially like being able to check the status of gates C10 and C11 while sitting at the establishment. I have been here at least 5 times in the past year and its a great place to be while your United return flight is delayed for the fifth time in a row. The staff seems happy and is very friendly. The service is very fast assuming that you ordered something that doesn't take a long time to prepare. Compared to the other locations in terminal C, there is always plenty of seating especially if you are willing to sit at the bar. There is also a great assortment of beverage, gluten free and children options. Highly recommend the cajun shrimp and sausage (see the enclosed picture). It is worth the wait. Added another picture thanks to yet another delay from the amazing United airlines...

First time I leave a comment that I don't like to leave, because I value the effort of each person in their restaurants, however the service was so bad that I said it can't be, a Latin waitress ignored me when I spoke to her, maybe she doesn't like us The Latinos, on the other hand, asked for the entree and it arrived after my husband's meal and because we asked for it, we got money. that they would change the white rice for fried rice and they didn't, and in the end my Rame never arrived, we realized that the dish was not billed in the order, so the system is not helpful, because you have no way to clarify doubts about What do you want, 15 minutes later they brought me my food, and I had already canceled it, I didn't think I would have this bad experience because when we arrived we were in front of our plane door and the manager received us very friendly. I hope they can improve communication and treat customers better. By the way, the waitress is the one with red hair.

Had a few hours to kill while I waited for my layover at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, and stumbled across Bam Bam as I made my way to my upcoming gate. For a meal at an airport you could do a hell of a lot worse for quality. The broccoli and cauliflower were tossed in a delicious General Tso’s sauce, giving a hearty bowl of vegetable and grains extra vibrancy. And as this is simply a rice bowl with vegetables, you’re looking at an easy vegan, plant based meal in the airport! To help both wash down my meal and also pass the time, I also picked up a bottle of Momokawa Sake. This bottle is the Momokawa Diamond, which is a medium dry with apple notes, giving the drink a lovely fall feeling. Between the quality nutrients, the solid drink, and the interesting atmosphere, Bam Bam is a definitely worth a stop if you’ve got the time to spare! With a belly this full I’m sure to nap on the plane.

I almost never leave 1-star reviews...and our experience here was THAT bad. If I could leave 0-star or minus five stars, I would.

Best parts about the experience? The beef brisket bowl was very tasty (although $31 before tax and tip), and we received some pretty good customer service from a young gentleman that appeared to be about 25 years old. He seemed happy to help and do the best that he could to help us have the best experience possible.

However, the way the system and process are set up (as well as the unacceptable behavior of the manager) and the unacceptable missing items led me to never want to contribute again to this business. I have sent them feedback twice over the last couple days, and there has been no response at all. With other restaurants, when I offer feedback that is less than stellar, they usually reach out immediately to acknowledge receipt and to ask for more information and/or how they can make things right. No such efforts yet from this business, and I wouldn't be surprised if they respond to this review with a copy-and-paste invitation for me to offer more feedback (that they won't read and/or won't respond to).

Worst parts about the experience? Clumsy ordering process that takes too long and requires usage of scanning a QR code to order through a web page. Our experience would have been much better had we been able to order through any of the humans working there, saving a lot of lost time and effort since the cell phone signal is horrible at that location and wi-fi was not reliable at all.

The prices are extremely high for the little that we did receive. If I ran the place, I would cut the price point about 50% (even if that meant reducing the size of the portions.

We were informed that the manager was intentionally withholding chocolate milk that we had ordered. Our flight had already started boarding, so I was not interested to wait around and spend any extra time to discuss this withholding by the manager. We did not discover until later that they had also withheld the edamame and miso soup we had ordered.

Suggestions/warnings for you: -Be careful if you don't have much time and they quote that the order will only take 10 minutes to prepare...it may take much longer. -Be careful that they include everything that you order. -Be careful that they won't give you the quality or value that other (airport) restaurants will give you.

If we had to do it over again, we would have tried any of the other airport...

You will never speak to a human (you have to order through a QR code) yet you need to tip before you even get your food. It was $32 for what was worse quality than a frozen meal. The tables were absolutely filthy, and no one ever wiped them down for us. We had to ask multiple times just to receive waters, the staff kept ignoring us, like they were hoping we would forget we asked for drinks. We were given one pair of plastic silverware that we had to share. There were plenty of workers standing around, making drinks for themselves, and on the phone, but it seemed like only one of the older guys at the bar, was actually working. We couldn’t even get the staff to make eye contact with us when we tried to get their attention. The staff walks around with a washcloth as if they are checking the restaurant, or cleaning, but they never actually do anything, and ignore the customers when they obviously need something. I wish I never spent a dime here. The chicken seemed freezer burnt and dry, the broccoli was completely uncooked, and the rice had zero flavor. The rice was cooked well, and the flavor of the sauce on the chicken was decent, but that’s about all I can say that’s positive. It tasted exactly like an old frozen tv dinner. It’s unfortunate because I have eaten here years ago and remember the pho being pretty good, but I didn’t even see it on the menu. Save your money, I wish I could get mine back, I feel like I got...

I was served my the most lovely, caring bartender. I did not catch her name, but she was a younger African American woman with dred locks made into alien buns and beautiful eyelashes. I was literally in tears trying to take the 20 steps on the QR code to order a mimosa. I’m a genxer, and a successful bar and restaurant owner who could not figure out this application. Why are you doing this? It is costing you customers and sales. Most people over 40 are gonna struggle with this and I confirmed it with staff. Your staff is amazing and could get your product out so much faster without these unceccesary steps. The product and service was 100% amazing after a 15 minute road block saved by this lovely young bartender. This is also making it hard on your staff. I’m not a “Karen” and I don’t leave negative reviews but I really felt i needed to write one after my frustration and seeing the frustration you staff is going through. Technology is not always the answer and when you have such a wonderful staff why not let them give great service without a technology road block? Just my 2 cents. Other than your QR code and website 5 stars all the...
