The cajun- vietnamese concept is great. A spectrum of choices available. A nice place to spend your time while waiting for your next flight. Located in the United terminal C of IAH (right next to C6) is a great little fusion restaurant named "Bam Bam". I especially like being able to check the status of gates C10 and C11 while sitting at the establishment. I have been here at least 5 times in the past year and its a great place to be while your United return flight is delayed for the fifth time in a row. The staff seems happy and is very friendly. The service is very fast assuming that you ordered something that doesn't take a long time to prepare. Compared to the other locations in terminal C, there is always plenty of seating especially if you are willing to sit at the bar. There is also a great assortment of beverage, gluten free and children options. Highly recommend the cajun shrimp and sausage (see the enclosed picture). It is worth the wait. Added another picture thanks to yet another delay from the amazing United airlines...

Had a few hours to kill while I waited for my layover at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, and stumbled across Bam Bam as I made my way to my upcoming gate. For a meal at an airport you could do a hell of a lot worse for quality. The broccoli and cauliflower were tossed in a delicious General Tso’s sauce, giving a hearty bowl of vegetable and grains extra vibrancy. And as this is simply a rice bowl with vegetables, you’re looking at an easy vegan, plant based meal in the airport! To help both wash down my meal and also pass the time, I also picked up a bottle of Momokawa Sake. This bottle is the Momokawa Diamond, which is a medium dry with apple notes, giving the drink a lovely fall feeling. Between the quality nutrients, the solid drink, and the interesting atmosphere, Bam Bam is a definitely worth a stop if you’ve got the time to spare! With a belly this full I’m sure to nap on the plane.

First time I leave a comment that I don't like to leave, because I value the effort of each person in their restaurants, however the service was so bad that I said it can't be, a Latin waitress ignored me when I spoke to her, maybe she doesn't like us The Latinos, on the other hand, asked for the entree and it arrived after my husband's meal and because we asked for it, we got money. that they would change the white rice for fried rice and they didn't, and in the end my Rame never arrived, we realized that the dish was not billed in the order, so the system is not helpful, because you have no way to clarify doubts about What do you want, 15 minutes later they brought me my food, and I had already canceled it, I didn't think I would have this bad experience because when we arrived we were in front of our plane door and the manager received us very friendly. I hope they can improve communication and treat customers better. By the way, the waitress is the one with red hair.

While waiting for my flight, I decided to check out this restaurant. There were about 3 customers sitting down. I wasn’t sure if they were taking orders yet, so I asked one of the waitresses if they were accepting orders. In a very dismissive way, with no eye contact she walks off while saying “I’ll get back with you.” In the meantime, I took a seat at one of the tables. I watched as she greeted other customers that came in, and did not return to offer me the same greeting. She finally approached me after I placed my order via bar code scan. I say all of this in detail because I value and expect equally good quality customer service, which I did not receive. The waitress’s name was Alma I later found out from another waitress, because Alma did not return. The teriyaki chicken bowl was subpar for the price.

The young lady who took my order was awesome and had good energy so this review should not in no way reflect her service. I ordered the bacon cheddar omelette and they asked me if jalapeños were gonna be OK on it. I said yes and it still showed up with no jalapeños so they had to give it to me on the side after I asked about it. My group ordered egg and avocado sandwich and the sandwich had no avocado. After 20 minutes of trying to get the waiter to come over so I can order another drink after he ran my card. I asked him wait I didn’t get to leave a tip and he said oh don’t worry it was automatically added, I said wait you picked your tip he said yeah sorry. sadly this is my first time here and will most likely be my last time due to those couple of things

Gluten Free at the airport. How awesome was it to find out they cook with gluten free soy sauce and many of the appetizers and entrees are available as safe for celiacs and those sensitive to or avoiding gluten. Our first time here and we are impressed with the speed of service, the quality of the food and overall experience. Order right from the table or bar via an iPad, pay at the seat. Swipe stations for cards. Multiple outlets for charging phones and other devices. Definitely check them out if you are in Terminal D by Gate 10 when traveling. A definite repeat visit is in the works.
