Customer service was excellent, Miko/Niko seated myself & my friend, Miko was communicative, helpful, asked if we needed assistant ordering on the tablet, etc. We decided on the 4 meat platter, beef brisket, ribs, pulled pork, & smoked sausage, 2 sides, total price came out to about $49. We waited about 15-20 minutes before our food arrived. When the food arrived, the beef brisket looked great, we tried it, taste was good, however it was cold, the sausage was good, warm, ribs were a bit dry lukewarm & getting cold, pulled pork was good. Macaroni & baked beans were good. Hot. We did let Miko know that the brisket was cold & he asked if he could have it reheated, I respectfully declined because I didn't want it placed back on the grill being that brisket is sliced & typically fragile. I mentioned I'd appreciate if he'd let kitchen staff know. However, Miko came back with additional brisket which was good, however this time it was covered in BBQ sauce, this confused us a bit since initially our order did not have BBQ sauce on any of the meats. Overall Food 2/5 Customer service 4/5 Total stars 3. Thank you.

I was originally the only one in line. After placing my order through their very convoluted QR ordering system (which never worked) all employees seemed to go on break. One employee cleaning. After 12 minutes the employees returned and filled the orders which were placed after me. Another customer walked up and asked how long it would be if they placed an order, I told her I was there about 20 minutes. An employee stated I needed to expect 15-20 minutes for food so they weren’t late. Even though it only took 3 minutes for them to fulfill my order when they started, I received my food after 17 minutes of it being in the system. 29 minutes after trying to place the order. (Photo shows the timer at 14:52 into my wait) The only way they can give an employee discount is to sign up for an account through the QR system, which does not work. So, no employee discount either.

Everything is bigger and better in Texas, so as the airport restaurants in Huston Airport. There are tons of great restaurants sprinkles around the airport. I tried some Texas BBQ today. Q smokehouse is pretty much a self serve BBQ place, with open kitchen, a good selection of meat and drinks. The food is great, the ribs are tender and juicy. Add a little bit kick if you pair along with the BBQ sauce. The half chicken is filled with juice and tender with a small hint of the Smokiness burry in the skin. Over all, the food is great. But as I mentioned, it is pretty much self serve, you enter your order, you enter your payment info, they only bring your the food and drink, yet, they still recommends a 18% tip. With that, the two meat combo is about 33USD for 1 person. If you were me, how much tip will you offer?

This location was near Gate E2. Good food (especially for an airport) and great service. The Sunday night managers showin' how to get it done. I was darting from a late arriving flight to the next in a different terminal, and starving. The Q team was considerate and wasted no time serving up a 2 meat combo with fries and beans. The cashier even zipped next door for my cold water bottle since their cooler wasn't working so well. THANKS Y'ALL! The bbq beans were really good and spicy with plenty of meat bits; fries were fine. Generous portions of brisket slices and sausage were tasty, even though late on a Sunday night it was forgivably a little past their prime. It's been a number of years since I've been in Texas and able to enjoy real bbq. This hit the spot. Recommended!

We ordered beer (16 oz for $11, pretty typical for premium craft beer in a US airport) and split a pulled pork plate with baked beans and green beans ($24.99). The pork tasted great, though a fair amount of it was fat that we couldn’t eat. We loved both kinds of beans. We’ve been here before, and it was just about what we remembered. We will come again. Do be aware that when you walk up and sit at the bar expecting to order, the bartenders may not immediately acknowledge you. This is because you order and prepay on your phone using the QR code at your seat. It may take a few minutes before your drinks arrive. Once the staff started engaging, they were friendly and helpful. I do wish they would greet us on arrival, as it sets a rather impersonal tone.
