Bar 3 is a beautiful space inside the La Colombe d'or hotel. Speakeasy vibes of rich wood, dark colors, and soft leathers. The cocktail menu isn't something that caught my eye, we thought we'd give it a try. My girlfriend had the Chateaux Lux and she loves it. Well balanced, not overly sweet and not overly bitter. I tried the Lindbergh Palace. It wasn't quite for me so I spoke to the bartender Sergio and he made me probably the best old fashioned I've had in Houston over the past three years. Awesome guy, super down to earth, and he aims to make sure you have a great time. He also made us his "Sergio special" shots for my birthday. You definitely need to have Sergio make you a cocktail whether you like the cocktail menu or not. We will be back for sure.

Drinks 7/10 Relatively small selection of house cocktails (just like 8 cocktails). Had La Colombe No1 and Headhunter. Both were just ok in taste but good amount of alcohol. Service 7/10 Good service but drinks take a bit long since there is only 1 bartender for the whole bar, including restaurant area Price 6/10 $17 pe cocktail is on higher end for Houston. But appropriate for the location/atmosphere

Friends and I have been here several times. Sergio, who is no longer there, was one of the best bartenders. Visited on Sat 12/1 with friends (12 in group). Recieved the worst service from Jeff. We each ordered 1 drink, wanted to pay separately and was told by Jeff that he would just split between the 6 cards. When we got the bill, the 30% gratuity was questioned, and Jeff's response was, "What you can't afford that?" We can all afford it, but when only 1 drink pp is ordered, brought to us, and not once checked on us, 30% tip is...
