I was visiting this business on September 28th for an estimate on a custom grill, I live in Spring Texas , drove all the way to this businesss and spend around 40 minutes talking to Karla about the project I need them to build, also I have here some designs I made.She mention she will provide me with an estimate on Monday October 2nd. Today is October 9th and I have not here from them. Call back to check the status and she says she don't know where she put the documents and she gave it to someone else (Person called Don or Dan, I don't remember). My 20" x 48" offset smoker was delivered mid March. There were several options added, 8" wheels, lid counter weight, 1/2" firebox, 20"x20" work area, and the stainless steel ash tray. This behemoth weighs in at 1100 lbs. I typically cook at 250 degs. Once up to temperature, it holds temp steady. The 1/2" firebox assists in temp stability. Thus far, I've done 6 briskets, `6 St Louis Style pork ribs and a few other things. All in all, its everything I hoped for. Check out the smoke ring on the brisket, its almost 1/2" thick. Great Customer Experience! Take some time and visit with them. There a bunch of models for you to look at and get ideas. These are custom pits. Expect custom!! They took time to talk with me and about what i was looking for. I'm not in a position today to buy one yet. When i am, i will make the drive to Houston to work with them. Incredible craftsmanship from these guys. Don't be in a hurry. There is too much to take in and process. Have an idea of what you think you may want and ask them questions . . . lots of questions.
