I had been there in the past but had not taken the time to review. The place is a bit old with uneven floor and older style tables that give the place a shabby feel. In the past, it was always a taco or something small so that we could drink a few drinks. Tonight we felt like eating a good meal so we decided to skip the drinks and order two meals. We ordered the sizzling fajitas for one and a carne guisada plate. The chips were pretty good although the salsa was real salty. When the drinks arrived they were flat. When the food arrived we were pleased at how well it looked on the plates. However, the taste lacked luster. I don't know how you go wrong with fajitas but they tasted like liquid smoke and a few other herbs that made it have and odd bland taste. I got to taste the carne guisada and that meat also tasted old and unseasoned. To top it off the tortillas I got were half burnt and stale. I think the best part of the meal was the service. They want to refill your drinks and make sure you have a good experience but it's hard when it's just not there food wise. The menu needs shortening and for their prices better quality. Give it a try and let me know if I'm being to harsh. I almost gave it 3 stars because of the service was excellent.

Absolutely a scam!! My family join us at this restaurant for the BUFFET not a sit down full service typical restaurant dining. Our waitresses came by twice, once to take our drink order and another to drop them off. Other than that nothing else was serviced to our group. 45min later a waitress drops by to ask us how we would be paying and how many tickets. We explained various times to her as she seemed highly confused. To our surprise we were ALL charged an 18% gratuity. The manager "Nancy" Tell me " You have been here several times you should know we charge a 18% gratuity " Excuse Me!! Most of my family was from out of town and stepped in to inform her that was not the case. And that little to none service was provided and we are paying an $80.00 tip collectively. We never complained about the dirty tables, sticky floors, rotten fruit, dry rice or a suspicious thing in the menudo. All in all this restaurant has gone down hill quickly. I will be reporting them to the health department. Also, we never received menu's since we got the BUFFET. Nancy stated the gratuity is written in the menu. Please see photo, try to find it in the tiny fonts

This place has such good chicken mole enchiladas. Soooo good. I also got the small portion of beef fajita nachos. Both were to-go orders. The nacho cheese sauce (for the fajita nachos) needs a little work.. maybe some smoked paprika? Still tasty. The guacamole, tomatoes and jalepenos that came with it were great. The chicken mole enchiladas were outstanding, and my mother said she would tell my dad about this place, so that they can return to eat there. I'm including some pictures of the menu, so you all can look at prices. I took the menu home because those enchiladas were that good. I also loved the salsa that came with the chips, it was on the thinner side, and a bit more spicy than other mexican restaurants. A pleasant surprise. Chips were crispy and delicious. I thought that everything was reasonably priced as well. Our takeout order was ready in just a few minutes, but noone was in the restaurant when we ate there, which may have something to do with it. Yummy place!

When I first entered the restaurant, I was greeted very well with friendly and nice employees who assisted me in my first time experiencing the place. Once I sat at my table, I got a good introduction on what this restaurant brings and how it will satisfy me. Once I was ready to give them my order, they did not waste any time to bring my food immediately. This was already off to a good start with great customer service bringing our food in no time. I was observing their menus and seeing the aesthetic being Mexican and giving me throwbacks of foods I use to enjoy so much as a kid growing up in Mexico. I ordered my food in which I got mole and it was one of the greatest mole I have enjoyed. The food was well served and great proportions given. Great food for the price ending up being a great value for everyone to afford. I enjoyed the experience there and have come back to this place plenty of times with my family and they enjoy it as much as I do. I wish that this place can get its well deserved recognition as I see the place being empty at times when I know this restaurant has so much potential to become one of the best Mexican restaurants in the city. Letting people have a taste of Mexican culture and their beautiful,...
