I was at this restaurant about a week ago on a Friday. I ordered a chicken samosa and a soup along with a mango lassi. Once the food arrives and I was given the nod the start eating; I bit into the chicken samosa, it exploded and burnt my lips and part of my face. Panicked and in pain, I grab some napkins and rush to the restroom. Once I came out, I begin to speak to the rep at the counter. Realizing what had happened and also having it all on tape, he was more concerned about getting me out of there by saying "I can make your order to go" repeatedly instead of rendering aid or having some empathy. It's been a week today and I'm still recovering. I still have scabs and burns all over my lips and around my lips on my face. I have given it some thought. I have come to the conclusion that they threw in frozen soda straight from the freezer to the fryer. Hence, the accident. Someone needs to explain or teach them about thermal expansion or food safety. I'm deeply disappointed at the lack of compassion and stoic response while trying to rush me out of there. (I have also prepaid for my food that I didn't eat). I would run and not stop. Be careful when you eat at...

I decided to give it a shot, but unfortunately, I was disappointed with the experience. When we walked in, there was a strong, lingering smell like that of an old building which was not very welcoming. Still, I wanted to give their food a fair chance. When my order arrived, I was surprised (and not in a good way). It wasn’t a traditional karahi at all because just desi chicken pieces dipped in curry, which was far from what I expected. The tea was okay, and the front desk person was polite and even encouraged me to come back to try something different. I might give them another try in the future, but my first visit was...
Read moreI had an exceptional dining experience at Tasteum. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and the inviting aroma of exotic spices. The menu was extensive and offered a wide range of traditional dishes, all of which were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I especially enjoyed the pyaali and chicken chilli crispy with schezwan/fried rice, which were both cooked to perfection and left me feeling satisfied. The service was outstanding, with the waitstaff being knowledgeable about the menu and offering great recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious taste of authentic Indian cuisine. 5 stars...
