"Sometimes you want to go, where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came".

Walking into Cambrian Coffee, I can guarantee you will always be warmly greeted with a "Hello", "Welcome to Cambrian", or "Good Morning". The team here is not short on customer service and making each guest feel welcome. Owners, Brian and Gemma, have done a fantastic job building a great brand that is both quintessentially Spring Branch, but also incorporates their love for geology, dinosaurs, cats, and of course coffee! Team members are always at the ready and if you are a regular will likely begin your order before you even make it to the counter.

All of their baked goods are delicious, but the sausage rolls take the cake. Maple Chili, Smokey Chipotle, Pepperoni Pizza, The Cheesey, and Taco Tuesday just to name a few are all fantastic. They have a traditional sausage roll sold daily, as well as a specialty sausage roll each week along with a rotating array of seasonal pastries.

And how could I forget the coffee? From your corporate brands to some of the local shops around the area, I have found Cambrian's espresso drinks, teas, lemonade, and seasonal drinks to be consistently the best in taste and value for what you get.

Bonus, they have a program called "Coffee it Forward" where you can purchase tokens to give to a friend, co-worker, or family member which awards them one espresso based drink of their choice.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this local business and the smiling faces that make coffee magic every day. If you are in the area, do not...

It’s nice area well lit in here. It’s got some high tops, bar seating, some picnic table style seating and the traditional 1:1 seating and 4tops along the exterior glass side. If you had a large group of even 12, they could sit comfortably in the middle. The metal chair seating isn’t in my vibe because it doesn’t make you want to stay that long, but their hours are not extended anyway.

I cannot believe I finally made it into the shop to have their Cambrian latte which they’re really famous for with honey and 2 shots. The Coffee is excellent. The vibe is clean and neat. It’s probably my new favorite coffee shop in the spring branch area and not overrun with students or loud kids.

Their hours are 7 to 3, which means they do business their way, at their time, and if you want to come and get their coffee, you need to make it within their hours of operation. The layout feels something like a summer camp or like a natural history museum shop cafe. They have dinosaurs galore and a gigantic geological time scale poster mural thingy. It’s cute. It’s unassuming. It’s well cared for. All their baristas looked like they loved working here and they were friendly and made eye contact.

I’ll have to try their pastries next time! Def come and try it out. See...

Cambrian Coffee is hands down the best nitro cold brew spot in Houston.

I don’t say that lightly — I drive 30 minutes one way just to get their nitro cold brew because it’s that good. Smooth, rich, perfectly balanced, and never watery or bitter. No other place in the city even comes close.

They also do these fun, subtle tasting notes with their nitro cold brew — sometimes you’ll pick up hints of cinnamon, chocolate, or other cozy flavors that make it feel a little extra without being over the top. It’s the little touches like that that set them apart.

And the baked goods? Phenomenal. They rotate them often so you’re always getting something different and tasty!

On top of all that, the staff is so freaking friendly and genuinely sweet. It’s the kind of place where they seem genuinely happy to be there.

Their drinks are consistent af too — none of that one-good-one-bad-day nonsense you find at other shops. Cambrian nails it every single time.

My one request: PLEASE...

Super cool spot in Spring Branch area. Staff was super nice and the coffee was great. The girl who took my order did give me the wrong scone but I didn’t realize it until I sat down outside, but because it was my first time and I wanted to try everything I didn’t mind. The cheese scone was really good. Not dry like a lot of places. The sausage roll was really good as well. They have a Cajun and a Classic so I got the Classic. I wound up also getting to try their Blueberry Lemon scone…Good Gawddddd 😋 lol. I got the Texas Summer Latte which is their homemade blueberry and vanilla latte and I could have drank another to be honest. The staff had a welcoming feel and overall the environment was pretty dope. They also clean right after people are done so it was nice and clean inside. I’ll definitely be back!

Cambrian Coffee is a great spot for coffee lovers and history buffs alike. The espresso-based drinks are exceptional, expertly crafted by knowledgeable baristas. The rich, flavorful coffee pairs perfectly with their delectable pastries and snacks, especially the mouthwatering sausage rolls. The shop's unique Cambrian theme adds a touch of historical charm, making it an ideal spot for history buffs to immerse themselves in the past while enjoying their coffee. The ambiance is perfect for focused work or leisurely relaxation. In my opinion, Cambrian Coffee is the undisputed best coffee shop in the Spring Branch area, offering a combination of great coffee, delicious food, and a unique atmosphere that sets it apart from the rest.
