Tierra Caliente — Restaurant in Houston

I’d give it a big 0 but I have to give it a star. This was my second time there and I had a bad experience. The cashier seemed rude she kept staring at me when I arrived and while she was checking me out. She didn’t know anything about customer service. I walked out and went to my car . I grabbed one of the cuernito bread thinking it had cheese but it did not! I bought 5 of them and obviously no had cheese so I walked back and the the guy that was standing to your left side had a a shirt so called “supervisor “. I told him that I had bought the wrong bread and I wanted to changed them but he said I couldn’t nor could he me a store credit of one bread even though I bought 5! He said it wasn’t his problem, I should of asked! What a great response that was! He needs training on how to treat paying customers and on how to try and solve the problem and making the customer happy. I...

Horrible Experience! Workers are LAZY and make up any excuse to no complete a simple request from the customer such as write Happy Birthday on a ribbon. According to the girl at the register, they were about to close and the baker had already left. Apparently "the backer" is the only one who knows how to write at this bakery. We left empty handed and decided to go to the Tierra Caliente on Airline. After about a 20 minute drive, the Tierra Caliente on airline was STILL open and gladly willing to assist us. Don't think its fair that we had to drive to a different location just to get good customer service which we SHOULD have received at the Tierra Caliente on Hammerly to begin with. Next time ill same myself from a bad experience and just drive to the farthest location where they treated us like a customer...

so disappointing experience! only reason I gave a try was because el bolillo bakery was closed. I had called one day before to inquire about placing an order. worker only inform me the minimum quantity. Next day I walk in worker seem to have trouble filling order guide so i offered to fill it myself. I pay cash and confirm with cashier pick up time which it was at 9 am. she then tells me they wont be ready till noon! I needed the bread for 9am! so I ask for my money back , she then calls supervisor with a name of Diego. They have a 5 minute conversations. call ends cashier tell me she cannot give me back my money because It was my fault for filling out order guide personally and she didnt catch the time i needed them.
