Casa Linda Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Houston

Update 10/5/2021: Unfortunately, it appears that Casa Linda is now permanently closed. We went this past weekend and there is a new name on the door: Normitas. It was not open. We're really sad about this. I guess they just didn't survive the loss of business during pandemic. Hoping it pops back up somewhere else. If anyone knows more, would like to know.

I’ve been coming here for years with my family. This past year the place was sold and under new management.. your probably thinking that’s always a bad thing but let me tell you it’s the exact opposite!!! The new owner is out on the floor meeting and greeting everyone that comes in. He truly loves to be in the restaurant helping his customers. This has always been a real favorite of mine to eat here but now I really enjoy it more. Food has improved greatly and the staff. Couldn’t be more happy with the new owner and food. I recently went to this restaurant to have lunch with my daughter and found out it's under new management. Waiter was friendly but needs to dress appropriate due to he's attending the customers. The place smelled like dirty and wet left out rags. So it smelled bad. Now they are doing tacos outside when i passed the grill it was dirty with left over last night onions. Very disgusting. Won't buy tacos from there. Too dirty. Now the food ummmmm my daughter didn't like the burger. She said it didn't taste right. My enchilada plate was ok but not...
