China Wok Café — Restaurant in Houston

Sweetheart, I ordered an order of beef and vegetables with fried rice and noodles. I ended up spending almost $25. oh, and a drink and I think the drink was probably the most safest. Do you know in my beef and vegetables not only did I get a special ingredient I got two special ingredients. One was a piece of plastic from a grocery bag the other one was the scrubber. You don’t like the middle scrubber that we use to wash dishes with yeah I got a silver piece of that. I should’ve known not to go into the restaurant due to how the ceiling looked let alone how it smelled, but of course after 16 hours of being at work just got off quick spot right down the road from the house why not worst mistake ever I spent all last night in the hospital. I was so disgusted. And yes, I will be calling the health department Monday. And yes, I would not recommend anybody eating here unless you want to call the health department and be in an emergency room later on...

Very nice customer service, clean yet stuffy no air circulation. Food was quick no wait. I ordered all veggie Singapore noodles and fried spring rolls. This is a known spicy dish and it was bland. I needed to add salt and Cheyenne pepper. There were no flakes of seasoning at all. The veggies consisted of broccoli carrot zucchini and onion. Mushroom would've been nice but maybe they didnt have any. Spring rolls were golden and crispy. Inside the veggies were over cooked mushy with no flavor. Im vegan so I need my veggies crisp and POPPN. Meat eaters might like this place. I tried this place for the first time a couple of weeks ago and just returned. The food is very good, prices are very reasonable and the staff is great, but today I had a wonderful experience there. I am a bit scattered at times and today after picking up a to-go order I mistakenly left my wallet right there on the counter. I had no idea until the restaurant called me at home to inform me (I had given my number for the to go order). I returned to pick up my wallet which was completely intact as the hostess insisted I check it before I leave.
