Star Pizzeria — Restaurant in Houston

I went there after a long time, and unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst experience again. I decided to give them one more try 'cause my friend's kid likes their cheese pizza, but I deeply regret it. I ordered a kavurmali pide (a Turkish specialty) that is supposed to come with only egg yolk. Instead, it arrived with both egg white (raw) and yolk. When I politely mentioned this to the waitress, her response was, "That's how the cook makes it". No attempt to fix it. I ended up separating the egg white myself and asked for a clean plate so I wouldn't have raw egg white on my dish. Halfway through eating, I found a piece of paper baked into my pide. When I showed it to the waitress, her only reply was "OK". She took my plate and walked away. No apology, no replacement, no offer of anything else. The lack of care and professionalism was shocking. They completely ruined my day. I honestly cannot believe how this place has good reviews. I just ordered a pepperoni lovers with pineapple. I reiterated many times to the man as to make sure he got the order. He kept saying pepperoni large and I made certain it was the pepperoni lovers WITH PINEAPPLE. And he repeated it back. Okay cool. He seemed out of it when I was talking to him on the phone but he repeated the order. Pepperoni WITH pineapple. It is 4pm and i told him i would pick it up at 530pm. I get there at 540pm. Guess what? I pick up the pizza and it was a regular pepperoni. No extra pepperoni No extra cheese. And NO PINEAPPLE. The pizza was room temp as if he made it an hour ago. I might change my review if they reach out and care about their customers but so far the only saving grace is the pizza taste pretty good. I will give them that. And yes, I was charged for the premium pizza but didn't receive it. For any future customers, just DOUBLE CHECK your pizza. You can't trust they got the order right. Not to mention they were very bland with their customer service. No warm welcome. Just meh. My very first two star...

This actually was one of my favorite places to go. A bit pricier than some, but I felt it was worth it.

Today ordered from here using the slice app. Spent $48 for a completely wrong order. I ordered a 1/2 & 1/2 custom XL pizza order. I have kiddos & they won't eat the veggies and such. The X-tra large was not made 1/2 & 1/2 & appeared to be missing a couple of toppings I paid to add. Ordered the small double mushrooms double cheese. Added pepperoni. Definitely not double mushrooms.

I'm a bit disappointed in the way management handled this. More than the mistake itself. It goes a long way with how you handle your mistakes. Mistakes happen. Slice called on my behalf and the best they could do was offer me a 25% discount on a completely incorrect order? Like seriously? I paid $48 for two pizzas that were wrong and my children won't even touch the Xtra- large (way too many veggies)

So thanks Star Pizzeria. You may have lost a loyal customer of more than 7 years. I will most definitely reconsider ordering...
