Com Tam Kieu Giang — Restaurant in Houston

This is our to go place when we are craving for Com Tam or don't know what to eat. They have improved a lot over the years ever since I first had this around over 10+ years ago. Of course you can't compare this to those in Vietnam but it is pretty decent. The only down side is that the pork chop, grill pork or beef always come a little cold. It almost like they precook those meats and serve them room temp. I love those fresh off the char grill meat in Vietnam. I have been going to this restaurant for at least 10 years now, and I love the food and the people who work here. My favorite dish is the jasmine rice plate with seafood and vegetables. The covid pandemic forced the shutdown of this restaurant along with many others but they have re-opened and are doing OK but not as busy as they used to be.
