I have been going to this restaurant for over 15+ years. That being said, today was not a great experience. There weren't that many people in the restaurant, give or take 3 other tables. I ordered my drinks. They weren't right. Not that big of a deal. I asked for a house margarita, given that it was happy hour, and I asked for it on the rocks. Not sure if the special price was only for frozen but I wasn't made aware of that. I was brought a frozen margarita. I let the waitress know I asked for a margarita on the rocks, and she seemed confused. She proceeded to tell me that the frozen margarita was "better". I stated I didn't want frozen because it was too cold and hurts my teeth. She said she would ask the manager about exchanging it or something, I couldn't really hear or understand her. After a long while, she brought my margarita on the rocks. But after that, she just seemed very standoffish and short when waiting my table. The food was okay. Nothing to complain about. We always went to this restaurant because it was a family tradition and we enjoyed the waitstaff and atmosphere, even if we had to pay higher prices. I spent $72 for dinner, it seemed a little high but I didn't want to stay to look over it or ask questions as I felt very rushed and slighted and I didn't want to bother to stick around. Maybe tonight was an off night for them or this waitress, I'm not sure but it will probably be a while...
Read moreThis is not the first time we've had a run-in with the guy, a skinny, thin-haired cashier who works at night. On two different occasions, the kitchen made mistakes with our take-out orders. For lack of better words between the kitchen and the cashier, How many times has the kitchen made mistakes? On both take-out orders, we called the restaurant back to make them aware of the mistakes made on our orders. That we would pick up at a later time. Boy, I didn't know how to explain the situation when we called back to re-order our food. It was like pulling your teeth. This skinny, thin-haired guy started arguing with me about how they do the orders and what we ordered. I was shocked and, when my wife called the first time to have her re-order her food, he fought with her. Holy smoke who does this guy think he is? To fight over the phone with myself and my wife. What nerve, and we're regular customers. I have received better service at Taco Bell. You don't fight with your customers at all. Let's stay we have no plans on returning and do not plan to recommend any of our friends to dine...
Read moreThe food is delicious however the service was terrible. We picked this place to celebrate my sister's birthday so there was 15 people. The place was empty only one other table at the time. The server took forever to get any drinks other than water. The servers didn't know the difference between their chimichanga or enchilada plate. She told my sister multiple times that her plate was a chimichanga plate, even though it was clearly the same enchilada plate I had. She blamed my sister for ordering wrong and had the audacity to show her the note pad she wrote the order down on. Which clearly read enchilada not chimichanga. Once she realized she was wrong she didn't say anything. She put the enchiladas down and walked away. She didnt even apologize. Then avoided the table after this happened the rest of the time we where eating. With all the great Mexican food options in this area with quality service do yourself a favor and avoid...
