As an adult I have never ordered food from a restaurant and had my food served on plastic plates, bowls and mugs. This is the worst kind of eatery I have seen in recent years.
As you exit security at terminal A, you are faced with a selection of nasty little eateries. One looks half decent, The Breakfast Klub, if greasy fast food joints are not your thing, but don’t be fooled.
You seat yourself. Your server is literally brain dead and has just enough life to ask if you need anything to drink. You order by scanning a little QR code glued to the table. Your coffee will arrive served in a plastic childs mug and you realize by coming here you made a grave error. Food arrives an instant later which is not a good thing. Food that’s comes too quick should be feared.
I asked for grits and a veggie omelette. Oh no. The omelette was presentable but tasted of nothing. I dont know how they do that. I thought i had had grits before but what arrived was some sort of baby food soaked in butter. I tasted it and told the empty seats opposite me out loud that i simply cannot eat that lest I die. The food was served on a plastic child’s plate. Supposedly in case I had a tantrum and threw my food on the floor. I’m not sure. My coffee was also supplied in a small child-proof plastic container. The spoon in my coffee was plastic but not the disposable kind, a reusable one. Urgh. The coffee was poor and tasted watered down. There is a chance it wasn’t actually coffee but something unfamiliar to humans. I paid nearly $4 for this nasty drink. A total kick in the pants. I suggest supplementing your coffee experience with an espresso next door at Starbucks, but beware the line.
I did not enjoy this place. If you eat from low-grade eateries in your every day life then your standard of quality will be low. Nothing wrong with that, but if that’s the case, you will likely not mind this place. If you prefer not to eat tasteless food served on plastic plates for high price, then like me, you will despise yourself for having made the decision to eat here.
It is bad. Really bad. Maybe the worst. I will never eat here again. I won’t submit my body to this experience again. It’s a bit like a visit to Chernobyl, once is enough toxicity for a life time.
It’s been 10 minutes since inforces the last of the omelette into my angry body, and I feel some minor tummy cramps already. Oh dear.
Avoid it, or suffer at your own ill...
Read moreTL;DR Absolutely horrible service, staff was borderline rude/completely unfriendly during a not busy time, expensive AF, and won’t take an airline voucher on alcohol while other venues will.
Only conveniently located “bar” in Terminal A so I went in and sat down. Sat around for 10 minutes waiting for service while at least 3 employees passed me up about 10 times; Finally, I ASKED the bartender “can I order a drink please?” To which she said, “give me a minute [please]”. An absolute garbage margarita will run you roughly $16 for a shot of tequila and some mix that’s probably been sitting around half the day, the jack and coke was no better, I honestly think she poured me a wells whiskey. Later, same bartender came up to us and was just staring at us while we were chatting. Basically (respectfully?) waiting for us to acknowledge her because she asked if we wanted any more food or to close out. We and other bar guests were shocked about how rude and ignorant the staff was treating their guests, almost like we were just a burden. Despite only a couple hours to departure, I was highly considering on burning my lounge pass with a short visit because the service at breakfast Klub was just that horrible. Low and behold, I sucked it up. Finished my drink, and proceeded to the gate...
Read moreI’m really disappointed in this location. The downtown location is my favorite breakfast spot!!! The customer service here at this location is horrible!! He needs to hire a new staff here. I was the first table to sit down. I got seated at my table and waiting over 10 mins. I walked up to the ann employee and asked her do I order with her or at the bar? She told me bar. I asked the lady at the bar if I could order for my table. She told me wait for Carlos the bartender. Then the bartender told me he doesn’t serve. And would have server over. Then the lady that I ask to put in my order comes over and ask me if I still haven’t put my order in. The only reason I stayed because I know the food was gonna be good. And my sons and I could sit down and eat since we had time. Then the food came and the fish was cooked all the way. The bacon was burnt. Potatoes and peppers BURNT 🥵. The cheese on my grits not melted. And no butter. Eggs cold the whole plate was cold. And the biscuit was dry!!! Wasn’t even warm enough to melt butter. This location gotta do better man. I know to never come here again. Oh and all the other yt customers that came in after me got served before I did. They was eating while me and my kids was still waiting...
