Medium Restaurant Size Busy Lunch, Ok Dinner Consistently Good Food Hong Kong Style Chinese Food Prices: ( $8.00 - $15.00 ) = Atmosphere =
Decently sized restaurant with a casual dining ambience, although somedays it can be quiet and intimate. It's usually packed during lunch hours and somewhat busy during dinner, but I've seen times when it's almost empty inside, strange. Overall decent place to eat. = Food Quality =
--- Curry Brisket Chow Fun ($9.95): 5/5 --- Incredibly flavorful and fragrant curry dish with some of the best flat rice noodles around. The curry is thick, semi-spicy, and savory with an intensely strong flavor, while the noodles are super chewy. The brisket is semi-chewy and absorbs the curry flavor almost completely, but do remove the fat and eat them separately. Overall an amazing dish to try and awesome portion size.
--- Beef Chow Fun ($8.95): 4/5 --- Pretty delicious stir fried flat rice noodles, the flavor is consistently savory and has a bit of an oily touch. The green onions, onions, and bean sprouts really compliment this dish and absorb the overall flavor pretty well. Portion size is really nice too!
--- House Spec Spaghetti ($8.95): 3/5 --- A sweet version of the traditional spaghetti. The sauce is lightly sweetened and tomatoey, while the noodles are nice and chewy. Most people rave about how good this dish is, but I don't consider it that "good" because it's sweetness can become boring after a few bites, and the whole dish is just that same generic flavor. Still a pretty good and flavorful dish, just not too good. = Price / Service =
Prices are fair for the portion size, portion size is actually huge by the way! Usually consistent as well.
Service here can be very nice, they remember familiar faces so they'll spot you when you return. Miscellaneous (Other): Weird Restroom, Ok Recommend Curry Brisket

I am, of course, describing the food. I rarely go into any Asian restaurant with any expectations for good service and this place is no exception, however, the food is what gave this place two stars.
It took about 5 minutes for anyone to notice that my boyfriend and I were standing at the door. We were sat, and no one came around to talk to us for about 10 minutes. Awkward much? The menu is extensive and long with each item being almost exactly the same as the last. My boyfriend is not Asian and it was hard to order because 75% of the dishes have no real description. They have a "spaghetti" section, and I had to keep reassuring him it wasn't the "Italian-kind".
Eventually we ordered chicken wings, pan fried noodles with beef, black bean, and some veggies, and chinese sausage and shrimp fried rice (which was under some other non-descriptive name) The chicken was okay but for a little over a dollar a piece, My chicken still had feathers in it and we had to re-season them with salt. I will stick to Hooters... thanks. My boyfriend loved the noodles... but he has probably only been to Peiwei and Timmy Chan's. The noodles were barely decent and not memorable. The fried rice nearly went untouched. It was so plain tasting. I think I could have gotten better fried rice at the Valero down my street.
Sad. I remember this place being good a few years back. Maybe my taste buds grew up or maybe I just had high hopes to begin with due to nostalgic memories. I probably won't go back because I was so...
Read moreHonest review HORRIBLE customer service I finally decided to give this place a try because of the great reviews. However I was so disappointed since the moment I walked in. No one aknowledge us at the front door even though they saw us, but then a second group came in then they decided to come over. I've noticed they treat their people asians differently when they see is their own race they immediately run to the front clean a table for them and get seated. I saw it while I was eating a family waited more than 5 minutes at the front but then an asian family came they were quick to get them. The waitresses are not friendly rude I ask a question about the food she walked off and ignore me. My order took 25 minutes because it was busy but they never brought my drink and forgot about it. FOOD was ok I order flat noodles with beef only like three strings of beef and all noodles then the other noodles were hard and extremely oily. Shrimp fried rice was good. Then Our appetizer was brought with our plates, then what was the point waste of money. The plates are large portions I recommend ordering one plate for two people. I had a bunch of leftovers. The price was decent for the portion. Overall if you still want to try it do to go. I will not be returning to this place horrible service I prefer good service. And the food was not so good you can get better...
