So this is what I like to call a stretch 3 star review. I call it that because some aspects of my experience felt 4 star but the overall experience was 3. Let me explain.
Relux has some incredible staff. They are some of the nicest folks you would ever meet. Always willing to help, always smiling, very friendly, and just great customer service. I had no problems with them whatsoever.
So my review might hold a little more weight than most since I lived here for over 4 months. The common areas like the gym, lobby, mailroom were always very clean (with the exception of the laundry room but you can't control customers being clean in a high traffic area). They have classic music playing in the lobby, modern furniture and cool decor to make you feel like you're in a luxury hotel.
The rooms are where things start to go downhill. The carpet was horrible. It was ripped and you can tell it hadn't been steamed cleaned probably ever. The pullout couch was disgusting. Tons of crumbs of food and junk inside the cushions, just not good. It was hit or miss with the cleaning crew. Sometimes they were good and sometimes it barely looked like anyone came by. The fridge had a piece of rubber falling off the door that stopped the food from getting cold. We reported it and some guy just put tape on it. That lasted for about 2 days and it was broken again. You also have to pay $35 for room cleanings. Which I can understand to an extent, but you should be entitled to at least 1 free cleaning a month if you you're staying so long.
Their signs are all out dated. They have signs that say laundry is free but it's not anymore. The gate for the parking lot was broken a lot. There a bank of Tesla chargers that are always being used by people who aren't residents of the hotel which gets annoying.
The reviews are true about bugs. They have roaches but they hired pest control to do routine exterminations. We saw maybe 10 roaches in a 4 month span if that's any indication on how bad it is.
Overall, we are grateful for Relux because it gave us somewhere to live in a pinch. If you're staying for a short time, you stay would probably be fine, but I wouldn't recommend...

Read moreThe outside of the building looks nice and the lobby looks upscale. But, if dirty rooms and roaches are your thing, then this place is for you! I stayed at this location with a relative for an extended period of time. My relative slept on the bed and I was to sleep on the pull out sofa. During our 1st night there, I pulled out the sofa bed and found that it was disgustingly dirty. The filth included dead insect carcasses and a AA battery. I immediately went to the front desk to complain. I insisted that the front desk representative come back to the room with me to inspect the dirty mattress. After her inspection, she suggested that we move to another room. I told her that I would not move until I inspected the sofa bed in the new room. Together we inspected three room, two of which had filthy sofa beds. The third room was passable, so we moved to the third room. A few days after staying in the new room, I found a roach crawling on the kitchen counter. I killed it and again went to the front desk. I told the desk person about the roach and asked what they were going to do about it. She said that she would get housekeeping into the room the next day, but there was nothing that could be done immediately. She then handed me some roach strips! This tells me that they know that they have a roach problem. We never saw an exterminator. I put down the roach strips and caught another roach on one of the strips a few days later. I went to the store and purchased insect repellent. Needless to say, we cut our stay short and got a refund. My recommendation, if you stay there bring your own cleaning materials...
