Saigon Arts Matcha Cafe — Restaurant in Houston

They have matcha in their name, but they don’t have matcha ice cream, and they won’t let you know when you order. We waited 10 mins for two matcha ice cream which was never coming. During the time, no staff there give us any explanation, we had to end up to ask by ourselves, what’s going on. And one of the staff told us machines was broken, with No “sorry”, NO explanation, NO “please wait”. We waited another 10 mins, still nothing. And we ended up to cancel the order. In one second, one staff told us the refund was issued, but no receipt. We had to ask for the refund receipt, and found out that they refunded to the wrong order, they basically issue to refunds to random order/person. Then we told them, it was wrong refund. They did another refund, and we noticed they only refund us ONE item for the WHOLE order. And then we had to go back again, for the right amount of refund. They finally did it, but WITHOUT A “sorry”. To the business owner, you having this kinda staffs who don’t respect customers, don’t have manners and issue refund randomly. Good luck to your business! I can't get over how pretty this drink was. It was almost too pretty to drink, but I did drink it! Pictured here is a Cheese Tea with Matcha and a splash of almond milk without ice. The tea base is lightly sweetened, and the cheese foam is a pefect salty sweet pairing. 10/10 I'll be back!

The quality of the matcha cheese tea has gone down. The first picture is from a year ago, and the second picture is from today. The matcha is a dirty green and not the vibrant green I’m familiar with. Also the cheese portion of the drink has been reduced by 50%. Also, the drink is grittier as if the matcha used is older—which I suspect it is from the color and the grittiness.
