JJ Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Houston

I will never purchase food from this place again. In washed fish but they claimed they only had wings. That forced me to purchased sunsetting in really didn't want. It was after 11:30 everything else was closed so I choose this place. Having had a long day I was really hungry. I was very disappointed when I got home and opened the container. 4 wings an order of fries and a drink cost darn near 10 dollars..8.99 plus tax. To my surprise and disappointment since this place seems to be so popular the wings I swear they came off of a BABY CHICKEN.. Yes they were that small. Imagine BABY CHICKENS. Not only that one of the wings was wayyyyyy overcooked. Wouldn't have taken much it would have been burnt. Then they put this so called powered seasoning on it ... That was wayyyyyy too much as well.

I'm highly disappointed to see again a black individuals product and name be tarnished such as this.

Henry at JJ’s Fish and Chicken was extremely rude. He deliberately bypassed my order after I waited 10 minutes after the pick up time. And then when I told him that my order was first he looked back at me with a disgusting look and told me to relax after passing up my order.

And I’m sure there are cameras. Henry claimed that he was bagging the orders together but the large order that was before mine he didn’t bag with the large order he waited a minute after the order and then told me Door Dash orders are not as important as regular customers. I got to the store at 3:24 and the order was suppose to be ready by 3:26. When the orders aren’t ready that messes up or performance. He didn’t bag the order until 3:36. And then when I was talking to him about how he was treating me he was very dismissive and said he wasn’t going to go back and forth with me and he started lying. Friendly customer service and AMAZING golden and crispy French Fries! However, the Fish Sandwich bread texture is somewhat dry as if it's just taken out of the plastic bag it comes in, brush a light amount of mayo and put the fish, lettuce and pickles with no tomatoes. I also tried their Chicken sandwich on the next visit and exactly same experience with the bread, toppings and yet again, no tomatoes. I dont thing they add tomatoes to any of their sandwiches because both times I requested it, they were given without them but didn't bother to bring it up to the cashier. I think it would be nice to at least warm the bread on the grill a few seconds and maybe add a little butter so te texture if the bread is not somewhat dry. Also, they don't offer fountain drinks and had to return the can drink for another one since they don't have any ice to offer.
