Khô Bò Số 1 ( Number 1 Beef Jerky) — Restaurant in Houston

This store location showed extremely poor customer service. We entered the store at 8:20pm on Sunday and browsed for about 5 minutes, knew our selection, when a male store clerk came from the back and informed us the store was closed. This was odd because we are not familiar with the store and were coming from afar, so we verified the hours online before heading there.

When we mentioned this to the clerk, and stated that the website and door sign stated a closing of 9pm, he became condescending and stated we should have known they are closed and refused service.

It is understandable that circumstances happen to were closing early is needed, but this was infuriating because rather than a simple apology for the early closer, he continued his condescension and then argued with us about how the store is closed.

This store completely failed in customer service. They failed to honor their advertised business hours and utterly failed on dealing with customer relations.

Our lesson learnt was to never waste our time with this store. We do not recommend this store and experience to any one.

Buyers beware! We ordered some Xi Muoi online from here to be shipped to our house. When it arrived, the packaging was damaged with a label from USPS stating that it was received in damaged condition and it looked like someone had opened it already. When we checked the package, we only received 1lb of our 2lb order. We called the business asking for a refund of the portion of the order that we did not receive and the owner was super rude and essentially told us it was not his problem. When we pointed out that their refund policy on their website says that we need to notify them within 3 days of receiving a damaged package to receive a refund - he said he doesn't know anything about that policy (even though it is listed in their website). Shady and rude business...would not recommend ordering...

sale MOLDed Beef jerky...it happen to me twice !!!

Officially this moment my families, friends, co-workers will no longers buying beef jerky from this location.

I think the guy (is the husband of the owner) smell with filthy cigarette smoke when he bag my beef jerky. We usually purchased 4-6 half pound bags.

For those customer out there, you can pay attention of what you buy on the beef jerky...MOLD

I am enclosed the picture of my seal bag (suppose to be seal after you purchased). But ALL their beef jerky are in the open containers, and bag it when you purchase.

I hated to deal with unhealthy and scam businesses. Texas Health department should look into...
