Service is friendly and courteous.

However, food is extremely below mediocre, although large portions.

We ordered Shrimp Pad See Ew and Shrimp Pad Thai. The menu showed both items pictured with shrimp and priced at $14.95 per plate. However, the receipt came showing a surcharge for the shrimp at $3 per plate - so actual cost was $17.95. The menu pricing is misleading and should be pictured without the shrimp.

But forget about the pricing - had the flavor been good - it would have been fine. However, the pad see ew was way too oily and had a somewhat burnt flavor. The greens were still raw and the rice noodles were lukewarm and not hot at all.

The Pad Thai was even worse: large chunks of noodles clumped together and dry, also lukewarm - again, nothing was hot. The seasoning was not spread out evenly on the noodles and some parts were actually outright cold. We threw it out after it was wrapped up to-go. We don't like wasting food, but afterward we couldn't stomach the idea of eating the leftover.

We ended up paying $45 with tips included, for two plates of some really bad Thai food.

Considering they had quite a lot of customers coming through the door while we were there, I'm honestly surprised. Maybe there aren't enough good Thai places around so people have nothing to compare to? Or maybe we came on a bad night - who knows. But this was just...

If I could give zero stars, I would. Its mothers day, alot of restaurants are packed. We decided to support our local Thai restaurant, so we took a trip to Tony Thai, since we have been there a few times. The place isnt packed. Only a few small tables filled. They seat us right away, give us menus and then a line of folks start coming in. We are ready to order. Wave our hands to signal the waiters that are just standing around. They ignore us. A few of them rush to the front to seat the new guests. Larger crowd. I walk up to a couple of waiters to let them know we are ready to order. They appear disoriented as though Im bothering them. They look around to see if they can get someone else to serve us while theyre fighting to sit their other guests. We sit back down, but now theyre handing out menus to all the mew guests. We wait a few minutes, nothing. So we walk out.

We spend quite a bit w Tony Thai. Sometimes we come w all my siblings to fill the large tables. But after today, it seems the waiters were only interested in the big ticket tables. Shame on the owners for not providing proper training. 5 waiters standing around, waiting for the bigger crowd...mothers day, Im there w my two sons and my wife.

Lost a...

I thought that service was number 1 in Texas..until Nola. We were treated like trash while she gave us attitude and made us feel like we were a burden from the start. There were only 1 other table in the restaurant, so it wasn't because she was busy. She had a mean face and acted annoyed while taking our orders. A few other tables came in and they were treated so nice! Smiles and laughs all around. She never checked on our table to see if anything was ok. It was embarrassing because we wanted to take our cousins here since we heard it was a good Thai restaurant. We are Thai ourselves... and maybe that's why she treated us like trash? In the end... our bill came and we were charged 18% for a party of 5 or more... which usually I'm fine with since I work in the industry myself.. but the service was not even par... not even close to a 10% tip and I rarely give under 18% anywhere I go. We gave it anyway... That's something... Worst service so far in this area... will never go back again. Food tasted nasty and bitter, maybe because of the attitude and foulness she left in our mouths. Do you think you deserved that 18% service...

New spot try out, and Tony Thai’s didn’t disappoint! Service was awesome! Portion size for the price is awesome! Flavors were awesome! Well worth a stop if you’re looking for new restaurant to try out. As a staple dish, ordered the wings as an appetizer. Sticky, crunchy, and delicious. The curry fish was just as delicious and has a little spice to it. It’s just to die for. Lastly the garlic pork just helped finish us off, with a bowl of steam rice. Just complimented everything. All priced right and family style. Average was $25 per person which to us hit perfectly for the amount and quality of the dishes. The parking can be a little difficult at times, but well worth a stop. Also make sure to check the back for more spots. We have no reserves that we will definitely be back for more. Can’t wait to try more dishes. Until next time.
