Taquerias Arandas — Restaurant in Houston

I like the food and I order to go almost every week but the cashier guy is so arrogant I waited an hour for my food instead of 10 min like they told me and instead of them caring they make fun of you for getting a little upset him and the other cashier with the glasses, guess they feel they are so busy who cares if they upset one person. We order 5 meals each time and it’s so hard to get enough salsa for all the plates my husband even has to offer to pay for it just so everyone can have enough for their food. The waitresses are always nice but those 2 the feminine guy and the masculine girl are really rude and together will give people and attitude of you try to speak up about something that went wrong-they should apologize because they know it was wrong and compensate at least with a lemonade a candy or something/chips but instead they laugh and show arrogance. the food is not that bad the wait staff are very helpful, the problem is the new manager he thinks he is ALL THAT but he aint with his fake blue contacts , papi chulo wanna be .. We know he's gay Lol .. well first of all I have been there several tmes with my friend he doesn't have the courtesy to ask how we are doing, he did the couple of times but after that he is rude, with no home training as good afternoon or a hi how are you!! or how is the food 'is everything ok etc..the other time he was nice was when his boss was there of course!!! I feel like the manager should go to the tables and ask everyone how is everything. with a smile!! all he does is be on the phone ,on his old fashion blue tooth out of style. the place is good ,the food is good too. just the customer service that is not good by the manager. he REALLY needs to be more nicer or friendly to everyone not just...

I always keep coming back to this place because I am addicted to potato and egg breakfast burritos. Nobody makes them better. It is nice and small and quaint and under a new manager. The old manager had kept the place quite cluttered and a little trashy looking but this is the Spring Branch Hispanic district so most of the people there probably don't care about that and even enjoy that kind of feeling in their space. The new manager cleaned the place up to allow a little bit more space in his restaurant. Either way I am always welcomed there even though I am a big white guy. Everybody has treated me with respect and the food is always tasty. I love all of the locations of Taqueria Arandas put this one...
