Taqueria El Taconazo (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

I love this place especially the original locations. BUT this location here is so greedy with their meat i like to get the quesadilla plate but it never fails that I always get a big piece of cheese that’s hard as a rock and it’ll leave me wondering what the heck it is! they don’t put enough meat in anything and today I went to order a fajita Torta And fajita nachos first of all the short guy that always has a weird look on his face was trying to keep my money only giving me 50 cents back in change although he owed me $2 I know it’s not much but still because when I confronted him about the change being wrong it look like he got caught doing wrong so he hand me the $2 I don’t live far from the place so I drive home and when I get home there no meat at all in my nachos plane chips with cheese on the side I feel like he did it on purpose because it never fails that when that ONE GUY is there at the cashier the order is always wrong but when he’s not everything comes out right Besides the greediness! Other than that the food taste is great but has been a hand full of times where they don’t give you everything you ordered or the correct order so make sure to double...

I always opt for their tacos because these are some of the best food truck tacos I’ve had in a LONG time!! Very juicy and even tastier, I could eat them alone! With the addition of their green salsa which is my personal favorite, (they need to sell it by the gallon) and all of the other common additions to a food truck taco, it becomes legendary.

Not only are their tacos absolutely delicious, the horchata is to DIE for!!! An absolute joy from every sip. I’ve found myself coming time and time again to this truck despite the location being the opposite direction I’m headed.

Where do I begin? Tortillas were heated up in a microwave!! Barbacoa is dry and no flavor, pastor is also dry af with barely any flavor and it's cut very weird, the only good one was fajita and even then it was in huge chunks. Smallest quesadillas ever. Gordita has lettuce, tomato, crema and queso fresco (no melted cheese), appreciated they were nice and round. Burrito is made of factory made nasty flour tortilla instead of hecho a mano but my bf said the rice was good. Their grilled onions are almost raw. These are not THE best charro beans, extremely mediocre. Service is good therefore they have 2☆. Their card chip machine didnt work so had...
