Worst place ever .... if you dont care what you eat or if is clean then by all means go to la placita .... this place is discusting as soon as we sit the waitress throws a towel at the table and say clean it good , very disrespecting . We looked passed the such act of disrespect and order the food . So now the revoking , stomach is turning upside down am looking at the cook man handle the food with no gloves after grabbing the phone , fixing his belt and rub his nose again NO GLOVES , no washing hands nothing ugh...... then he fixes his glasses and start touching the tortilla with his nasty hands and is about to grab the fijita , now he pick up the fajita with a spatula and then uses his HAND to push the fajita off the spatula again all this with no gloves or washing hands . Very unprotected, unprofessional, this place should not be serving food to the public , very disrespecting and discusting place ... DO NOT EAT AT LA PLACITA ON...
Read moreI am not sure how I missed this little hidden gem in my neighborhood. As you enter, the produce on the left is fresh and priced fairly fir a small market. When I make calls, I often pick up my veggies here. In the back are my two favorites. First, the meat counter. Yes butcher behind the counter wraps up what you order. Beef, chicken and pork are all here. Originally, I bought beef for soup, but neededitin snd bought liver last week; it was fantastic. Finally, my favorite: the cooler filled with hot, corn tortillas.
