I visited this family-owned omelette and waffle restaurant and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. This is my third or fourth time and I was a bit taken a bavkI was overcharged, and had I not said anything, the error would have gone unaddressed. While I understand mistakes happen, the overall service and tone of my visit left much to be desired.

The young lady with long black hair who initially helped me came off very dismissive. She interrupted me mid-sentence twice while I was trying to place my order, and her attitude felt rushed and unwelcoming. I ended up asking for someone else to assist, who was only slightly more professional.

I requested my steak to be well done, but it arrived fairly pink. My potatoes were also undercooked, and I had to ask for them to be cooked longer—thankfully, that part was corrected. However, I couldn’t help but notice that the family sitting next to me had their food prepared perfectly from the start, with no extra requests needed.

As a darker-skinned customer, it did feel like I was treated with less care and attentiveness. The service felt cold, like they were only serving me because I was paying—not because they genuinely valued my business.

It’s upsetting when an establishment is willing to take your money but can’t provide the same quality of service and respect to all their patrons. I hope they take this as constructive feedback and work on providing consistent, respectful service to everyone who walks through...

I ordered the Garden Omelet via Grub Hub delivery on Mother's Day. The eggs were sooo fluffy, it was like eating a cloud and the veggies were awesome - they were grilled/sautƩed, not just folded into the omelet or placed on top with just a little heat. I wish the Portobello Mushroom omelet was available via Grub Hub's menu, but it wasn't. It was sooo delish I was and am ready to get another one very very soon.

But I would like to point out that it did not agree with my tummy later that day. It was delivered via Grub Hub but Grub Hub did not sent notification that it had been dropped off. It was still warm, so I thought it would be okay. I did re-heat just a little as to not to disturb the texture or flavors, but to get rid of any FBI's (Food Borne Illness') that may have occurred - but was not so lucky. This is not a deterrent to go the restaurant and eat there...just a deterrent from using 3rd party delivery services-which was...

The place is a bit run down mostly the ceiling, floors were a mess, and it's a bit too stuffy. For this reason, the atmosphere rating alone is 2.8

Food kinda depends on dish from what I can tell, but prices are unjustifiable. My order was hashbrowns, sausage links, and crepes. Didn't like the hashbrowns really dry (3.99) . It seemed not to be from overcooking them, and the sausage links had no casing not bad taste wise but (4.99) for 3 small obviously cheap, microwaveable sausages ? Huh? The menu doesn't mention that the crepes come with plain cream cheese inside. That really bothered me because I personally didn't want that, gave it to my bf, and ate the parts that were plain. Horchata was super super milky more than rice water.... 16oz( 5.99) ??? DUMB. My bfs agua fresca( 3.99 )16oz and his taco salad was actually good from the sample he gave me. 3 stars

The service was excellent , and it gets 5 stars.

Would I come...

My husband looked up a place for breakfast and I'm so glad he found this spot. Its quaint, unassuming and very busy. But busy is usually good news when it comes to food and we were not disappointed. The pancakes alone were worth the wait. They were fresh, hot, fluffy and delicious. We opted for blueberries and bananas along with the western omelet. Can we pause for people that know how to cook grits?šŸ˜ Its a southern thing and like knowing how to cook rice, it matters! To drink I ordered fresh squeezed orange juice and it was perfect. Our service was also wonderful and that says alot when the place was packed and customers had to patiently wait whether seated or outside. Try this spot out and let me know what you think. Here's to good sips and better breakfast, E.FreešŸµ

This family owned and operated restaurant is beyond awesome! I can never say enough good things about the food or the service! I had the best "Create Your own Omelette" of my life there yesterday. Swiss and Pepper Jack Cheese, tiny chopped really minced Bell Pepper, Onion, and Tomatoes and Turkey Bacon cooked to perfection with Home Fries and one Pancake with Bottomless frequently filled Coffee. My Dad discovered this, his now favorite Breakfast place several years ago. They adopted him and he adopted them. He had his 96th Birthday yesterday. He is on a first named basis with all of them. (He operates like a 50 year old .) Anyway It's perfect! Perfect...

The food had small portions for the price. The service was slow, and the coffee was watered down. The place was small and what's funny the restaurant could not decide if there were an Italian or tex mex restaurant but they served what they thought was traditional American breakfasts, the walls had Italian pictures and of course the God Bless America sign over the entrance to the bathrooms, the tables had no salt or pepper shakers and had a little plate with ketchup packets incase you needed some. This was literally a hole in the wall, but like some hole in the wall, places the food did not impress. Oh, my coffee cup was dirty.
