I recently had the pleasure of visiting this delightful French bakery shop, and I must say it was an exquisite culinary experience. The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the aroma of freshly baked pastries and the elegant decor that transported me to a charming Parisian café. The selection of pastries and bread was nothing short of impressive. The croissants were a flaky, buttery delight, and the pain au chocolat oozed with rich, gooey chocolate. Their macarons were like little bursts of heaven, with delicate flavors that melted in my mouth. The attention to detail in the presentation of each pastry was impeccable, and it was clear that the bakers took great pride in their craft. The colorful array of tarts, eclairs, and mousse cakes displayed in the glass case was not only a treat for the taste buds but also a feast for the eyes. The staff was warm and knowledgeable, providing recommendations and answering my questions with enthusiasm. They made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I couldn't resist trying a cup of their freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee and it paired perfectly with the sweet pastries. The quaint seating area, complete with vintage French decor and cozy ambiance, offered a perfect setting to savor the treats. In summary, this fancy French bakery shop is a true gem for anyone seeking an authentic taste of France. From the delectable pastries to the charming atmosphere, it's a must-visit for anyone with an appreciation for fine French baking. I'll undoubtedly be returning to indulge in more of their exquisite creations.

I recently had a very unpleasant experience with La Plume Bakery, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. Not only was the customized cake I ordered not up to par, but the unprofessional behavior of the bakery’s management has left me feeling disrespected and attacked. Despite expressing my dissatisfaction with the cake’s hand-painted design, instead of acknowledging the issue, a friend of the owner took it upon themselves to post rude comments about my review on social media. This passive-aggressive behavior is completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the bakery’s professionalism. Furthermore, it’s evident that many of the five-star reviews for this bakery are from friends and family of the owner, rather than genuine customers. This manipulation of review scores only adds to the lack of integrity displayed by the management. I urge anyone considering La Plume Bakery to think twice before patronizing this establishment. Not only was my experience disappointing, but the continued harassment I’ve faced on social media from associates of the bakery is unacceptable. If anyone doubts my claims, they need only look at the red platform to see the ongoing attacks and bullying I’ve endured. In conclusion, my experience with La Plume Bakery has been nothing short of disheartening. I hope that by sharing my experience, others can avoid similar mistreatment.

This is a hidden spot that’s well worth a visit, especially for those with a sweet tooth. The coffee is decent but nothing extraordinary—we tried the latte and flat white, and both were just okay. However, they do offer a selection of specialty coffee drinks and teas, and the matcha tea stood out as particularly enjoyable—smooth and well-balanced. The real highlight, though, is their pastries and crepecakes. The Mille crepe cakes are exceptional, with a variety of flavors to choose from, each one light, creamy, and perfectly sweet. The tarts are equally impressive, featuring buttery crusts and delicious fillings. They also offer custom cakes, which is a great option for special occasions. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the quality of the desserts makes it worthwhile. We’ll definitely be returning, not for the coffee, but for the outstanding cakes and tarts. If you’re in Houston and looking for a treat, La Plume Bakery is a must-try.

I got an oatmeal latte. Told her to sweeten it with honey. I took a sip and it’s like I bought myself a cup of honey. So I drew her attention; telling her it was way too sweet. She made me a second cup. It was still sweet and something in me wanted to reject it but I didn’t want to make her feel bad, I wasn’t in the mood to experience attitude from anyone or have a bad day either. This has once happened to me at Starbucks. So I ended up drinking the second cup like that at the detriment of my health. I’m seriously regretting why I took it. I think cafĂ©s should give people the option to sweeten their drink the way they like. Like what will it cost to have honey sachets or sweeteners handed out to a customer ?

It’s a tiny cup for Pete’s sake. She said the first time she used 2 pumps, 😳 2 pumps for that tiny cup ? Second time she used 1 pump. Still there was no much difference. Questions if that was really honey she used or adulterated honey. Cos why is my health so triggered ? I wish I listened to my gut and not drank that second cup, I also wish I listened to my mind the initial time I was contemplating whether to get a latte or not. Now, guess who has been sick since yesterday she left La Plume ? My humble self. Nice ambience by the way and that’s why I gave a 2 star, but your Latte got me messed up. First visit,...
