I came in today totally based on all those positive reviews posted online and I am so disappointed with people (Mandy) who running this location for Thai Bistro. New customers really should not believe everything posted online.
I am certain that I am not the first and only dissatisfied customer ... I wonder do Thai Bistro pay someone to write good reviews because they are purely rude and so not professional (very impolite especially speaking Thai languages and laughing so loudly) and I have no ideas what they are talking and laughing in front of me.
I understand they were about to close in another 15 minuets and they really want to go home on time if that is the case just let me know so I could come back later.
Yes, I could probably agree if the owner (boss) doesn’t want to pay over time so that workers must be out on time.
However, I can’t understand is why didn’t I get my soup “it is a lunch special” soup is included but I didn’t get one.
Truth is Pad Thai so well known also one of the most popular dishes from Thai Bistro so I know for fact from here come with chicken and shrimp (lunch special cost $8.99) and my pad thai , from 11660 westheimer rd, houston tx 77077, has no shrimp at all (5 very tiny pieces chicken).
What really trouble me is my order ready within 5 mins right after I paid (feel like leftover) actually food is cold and no shrimp in it and a little needles, I will not going back and I want customers know ... I have tried Pad Thai all Thai Restaurant within Houston and sugarland area by far this location the worst of all.
My reason one star because the service needs improvement (no Thai languages and laughing) my advise to the owner “please lock the door at 2:45pm” so no one will be able to get inside before 3pm.
We all from around the neighbourhood and love to eat out please tell your employees don’t treat people differently just because I look different (your menu clearly state if customer wants to order shrimp only pay $10.99) the normal Pad Thai is chicken & shrimp but no doubt this time I didn’t get what I paid for it - no soup either for my take out order as...
Read moreOur dinner at Thai Bistro was a delightful experience. The culture-filled environment in the restaurant and the amazing hospitality of the waitress made the atmosphere comfortable for us. The waitress kindly explained to us the items on the menu and the different spice levels. Our drinks and appetizers came surprisingly quick, likely due to us being the only customers at the time. The Thai Chicken Spring rolls we ordered were presented very well, however we learned that looks can be deceiving since taste did not match the presentation, being somewhat bland and flavorless. When we moved on to entrees, they took a bit longer than we would have liked considering the restaurant was otherwise empty. Nevertheless, every dish exceeded our expectations. In contrast to the appetizer, the exquisite taste of the food matched the perfect plating of the food. The varying textures and the perfect balance of sweet and spicy in each of the meals made us crave more and more each bite. Thai bistro convinced one of our friends who was not accustomed to Thai flavors that Thai food is one of his favorite cuisines, making for a memorable dining experience for newcomers and experts in Thai cuisine. The combination of exceptional food and warm hospitality makes it a must-visit for anyone in search of culinary adventures, earning it a place as one of the top Thai restaurants in town. We can’t wait to return for another culinary journey through the flavors Thailand still has to offer through...
Read moreThis was my first visit, I am a big fan of Thai food. First off I was greeted quickly by a friendly young lady who showed me to my table. She was very helpful with the menu and explaining there spice levels for the spicy dishes. I ordered an appetizer of spring rolls. They were very tasty and cook properly unlike some places where they are full of grease. I ordered the Beef Basil Inferno off the lunch menu and picked the spice level of hot. The lunch special included a small salad with soup. The soup was a very simple yet tasty chicken broth with just a few veggies, very traditional. The salad was very fresh and they use a peanut sauce as dressing. I have never had salad with peanut sauce but it works. The meal came out pretty quickly and was hot and fresh. The presentation was good. The Beef basil inferno did not disappoint. Spice was perfect for me. It was all well seasoned with perfect execution. I will definitely be back to try other things, and definitely Recommend anyone who likes Thai food to give...
