I called to talk to a manager today regarding a meal I had delivered by Uber Eats yesterday. I ordered just a regular burger and paid extra for sweet potato fries. The “gentleman “ answered the phone “Hey Pam” and laughed. I didn’t say anything because I was taken back. He didn’t say the name of the business, he just laughed. When I got it together I asked if I could please talk to the manager. He replies that he is the manager (I didn’t believe him) but he insisted so I told him I was calling regarding an order that was the worst I had ever received from them. I’ve eaten their food many times and they are always consistently good so I told him I was shocked this order was so bad. The bun had no mustard or mayonnaise on it. Not even packets so the tomatoes and pickles and lettuce soaked through the top bun. The meat was burnt on one side like someone left it on the grill too long and it burnt. When I tried to pick the burger up, the top bun just disintegrated. The meat and vegetables and bread were dropping everywhere. It was a disaster burger. The man told me that it was Uber Eats problem and I told him I agree with part of that but it’s just as much their part for the burger being overcooked and no Mayo and the bun getting soaked with the tomatoes and pickles being right on it. He told me no call UE. I said I didn’t think he was the manager so could I please have the owner or managers name. He said I don’t give a damn call UE and he hung up on me. I just tried to call and I have been BLOCKED!!! It’s sad. I guess they don’t want me as a customer Watch out...

If you want a spicy challenge this is it. They give you gloves so the spice wont burn your hands. You have 7 minutes to eat the entire burger. Any sauce that drops off you have to eat as well. No liquids allowed at all. Even if you finish early you have to sit and suffer for the full 7 minutes.
I took on this burger. Let me tell you spice is no joke. By the 3rd bite my body was already hiccupping and burping from the spice. By the time I was 4-5 bites in my face was already sweating. By half way through I was in a fair amount of pain. I got down to the last few bites and I was shaking in pain. As I finished the burger I could feel the spice coming out via my tears. I had finished the burger with 2 minutes to spare. However an amount of the juicy spice had dripped out. I was told I had to eat what fell out to be a winner. I threw in the towel at that point. The pain only grew from then. I chugged 5 glasses of ice water. Holding the ice in my mouth as long as I could stand to numb the pain. The pain was so great I could not speak. After some time I was able to walk only to go outside and vomit. I spent the next 12 hours in agony. Every time the sauce hit a new part of my GI track the pain, sweat would return. If I dare move it would slosh around and burn some more. I spent at least 6 hours on the toilet fearing the 2nd wrath of the burger. It took my stomach over 48 hours to recover. I failed this challenge. 10/10 do...
Read moreGreat and not so great .... Good food, great value but truly horrid chairs. Stopped by with my GF and both had great burgers. The ingredients were really fresh. The lettuce and tomato were on point and not wilted or crummy iceberg variety. The patties were site prepared and grilled in a traditional style . Not full on white bag burger stand but not gastro pub extravagant. Just a good burger at a really good price. The fries were hand cut from potatoes on site. She had the truffle fries, which I skipped Most places they just taste like funky fries tossed a generic fake truffle like seasoning powder at double the price of plain fries Boy am I glad she chose those. For the first time in a decade, I actually like these and would order them when I come back. Their selection of bottled hot sauces and ketchups was a nice touch. The only drawback is the chairs ... As I was getting up to leave one of the legs bent and I fell over backwards in a embarrassingly slow motion fashion. The bistro style chairs are made of a stamped steel. Looking at a few others they seem have creases and will probably fail too sometime in the near future.
Go ahead and go, enjoy the food but choose your...
