Little Casita — Restaurant in Houston

"Hey I have a little time before I have to go somewhere, let's stop at this place Ive seen for ages but never went into" I thought to myself while staring at the restaurant front. The ladies there were nice, and the whole atmosphere was authentic-looking. I wanted something that was lighter on the wallet, so I decided to try a Lengua Torta (Something I never had in my life). Even after their lunch special, the price was extremely reasonable, and compared to the quality i thought I was gonna get, my mind and mouth took a COMPLETE 180 as soon as i took the first bite. It was VERY flavorful, delicious, and the whole Torta was very filling 🤤 I think this is my first restaurant review, and im glad to have had such a great experience at a place I wasnt at long. These people have consistently screwed us over. They always overcharge. We asked for some bean and cheese burritos. She charged us for THE BREAKFAST bean and cheese burritos and it was 7pm and these cost a dollar extra after 11am. The menu clearly has bean and cheese burritos for 2.49. We ask the woman and she says “I charged the order already so I can’t change it.” Are you kidding me? That’s exactly what you’re going to do, you charged me wrong. She wouldn’t change it. So I ask “well if you’re going to give me a breakfast burrito, can I atleast change what’s inside?” She said “no I already put in the order”. THE COOK HADNT EVEN STARTED COOKING. They charged me more for a breakfast plate because they said they went up on their prices on their menu in the restaurant but their paper menus says a different price! The cashier sl _Madrid (on receipt) was not really understanding and was very argumentative! She charged me the restaurant menu price and the other person with me the Togo menu price (which was cheaper). The cashier girl advised us it was just a dollar difference.
