I normally don't like to leave one star, but this location is ruining the reputation of the company and the company isn't doing anything about it. I have been the owner of Inwood Postal , which is right across the street, for 3 years now, and I have been dissatisfied every time I walked through the doors. The workers do not understand customer service. I decided to see if there were any improvements today and stopped by. There wasn't. There was a customer fighting to get her money back from horrible service and she wasn't combative, but they said they couldn't refund her after giving her less than perfect service. As I was waiting to order, the front counter worker was hiding behind the lemonade machine texting on her phone for quite some time before she decided to help me. After she took my order, she walked off and left two people behind me just waiting while she backed up the drive through. ( I guess they can't multi-task) As a previous manager in fast food, I am not leaving this review as a customer, but as a food manager and the only thing I see working for this location is the cleanliness. If they don't do anything else, they clean and that's what the one start is for. Please adjust this popeys. I promise they are eliminating every race that doesn't look like them here. No service for African Americans, Caucasians , or Asians. They have eliminated half of the people that live over here by being extra courteous to their own and prejudice towards everyone else. I will not be stopping by until I see an improvement. That's a shame being that there are so many opportunities for income right across the street. No one likes them. UPDATE: 11/14/2022 I stopped going for a very long time and decided to give them another chance. The front counter rep doesn't even speak the main language here. I made an order on the app and waited 10 minutes before going to pick it up. It's a cold rainy day, and there was no line so I figured 10 minutes was enough time. When I walked in everyone was talking in the back and did not even start on my order. There were literally no customers and my ticket was just sitting there. While waiting, I looked out the window to my business and I lost two customers while waiting on chicken that was sitting up. Popeye's will never be the same until they get better leaders, and by leaders, I mean people that actually know how to multi task and hire people aside from family...
Read moreDO NOT GO THERE!!! This is my first time ever posting a comment on my experience anywhere. First time I went to this location was about two or three months ago. I ordered some spicy chicken, the lady told me I will have to wait about 10 mins for the spicy, but it turned into 45 mins!!! She apologize and gave me an extra piece of chicken. I was understanding and let it go. Today I decided to give it another try. I ordered my usual two piece spicy. The cashier after putting in my order informed me that they were out of spicy wings and she could give me a spicy breast and a mild wing. It frustrated me a little but I said OK. I got my food and asked for honey to eat the biscuit with and ketchup for the chicken of course. She said that they're out of honey. Again very disappointed. She then starts looking for the ketchup even goes to their back room, comes back and says we're out of Ketchup also. At that point I ask for a refund because I was not going to pay full price for something I wasn't going to enjoy. The manager comes I explained to her and she didn't know what to do. She goes to the back and come back with three ketchup and said they should be getting they're truck in a couple of days. Really???. I will never go back there again the only reason why I went there is because it's close to my school otherwise I would've went to my usual location. When I called the store they refused to refund the difference as they "have no way to do that". (LIES) I heard some woman saying in the background how she did not know what I was talking about that i got my chicken, etc. Yenequa code 3939 or 9393 (because she gave me both numbers) offered to put my name in a book to come back for my order & a free drink. I came back today, and walked in because I did not want to be in the line another 45 minutes due to the malfunctioning speaker. Two women (including manager or shift lead were at drive thru window, two employees were on the line.) The women at the drive thru started joking with the individual at drive thru window, "what you doing in my drive thru?" They were both leaning over talking to client through window. 3 minutes later I was greeted finally by a frustrated line worker who asked me what i wanted. I explained my name was in the book, and she motioned to shift lead/manager to come help me. That woman turned around and said, "be right there ma'am" and turned around and began talking to drive thru again with no sense of urgency. I waited another minute or two, and irritated again by my experience I just left.
