UPDATE AS OF OCT. 2021** Logan's you MUST have changed management! We stopped coming because the food had become inedible (see below). BOY have YOU changed!!!! We were hungry and desperate and had zero expectations. We ordered meat loaf and I, the country fried steak. We ordered to go. The rolls were FRESH AGAIN, food was tasty (country fried steak was okay), but this was a HUGE improvement--you're back! WE are so happy your quality is back to what we were used to. We have been back two other times and food was consistently good--so I know the good food wasn't a fluke! Glad you guys are back! Keep the quality and keep customers! Also noticed new selections added to the menu! Delish! You won us back!
....2 years ago review....(1 star) Not happy with this location anymore. We had a pick-up order and the order was incorrect. When my husband got there, they said there would be an up charge for the loaded sweet potato fries that they had forgotten to add to our order. Understandably. We were using a coupon for our food, but then they said we could NOT use the discount on the sweet potato fries due to it being on a different order. Why? This mishap wasn't any fault of ours. But that is not the reason for the poor review. The quality of food has dramatically decreased in the past year. We order a lot of take out from this location. Each time they forget something: bbq sauce, butter, dressing for my salad--something is ALWAYS missing or wrong with the order. Today??? I decided to give the roadies another try since last time they tasted like cardboard and were bone dry and NO seasoning. These use to be my favorite. My husband comes home: no pickles on the buns, the meat is HARD and COMPLETELY over cooked, the cheese is like rubber as if it had been sitting out all afternoon under a heat lamp. The rolls were NOT fresh...they were hard and cold. The rolls use to be the best thing here! Absolutely disgusting! Seriously, the roadies tasted like they had been placed in the microwave. They had this really "strange" taste. How do you mess up a mini burger? Rolls? No pickles?? I mean there isn't much ingredients to mess up! C'mon guys! I know this isn't an isolated incident as this was the second time I gave the roadies a go. After coming here for more than five years I think we will take our business elsewhere. The only plus I can give this place is that they brought back the meatloaf--REALLY tasty--!!! We were happy they brought it back. Other than that, quality lacks and respectful staff is also lacking. C'mon, Logan's you can do better! You were once sooo good. Most of the restaurants around here are going downhill. Only place we can depend upon for consistent quality anymore is Chili's and Brickhouse--which has EXCELLENT food! So sad. I don't know if they changed management at Logan's? But they are going to start losing a LOT of business if this continues. Others have had the same complaints. Quality food + quality staff = satisfied,...
Read moreBE CAREFUL -- something shady on their website.
Be especially careful when ordering takeout from here as the the corporate site is engaged in what I consider to be very deceptive practices.
I was prepared to order takeout for one particular item (1 dozen of the Made-from-scratch Dinner rolls). That singular item would be under $5.
I scratched my head trying to figure out the shopping cart calculation for Sales Tax, which was way off. The State of Texas allocates a 8.25% rate for Sales Tax. The Food itself was under $5, so why is the Sales Tax calculation set to $2.87 ?!?
For those not so great at math, that is an over 50% tax rate (about 60% to be precise).
The Tax is disclosed as only a Tax and not any Fees, but again this is a Takeout order I am going to pickup, so there really should not be any fees for such a nominal order as well.
I declined ordering on the website, and went instead into order takeout directly. Doing so I was charged appropriately and charged the correct tax amount.
Moral of the Story -- The corporate entity seems to be trying to screw over consumers by hoping they won't do simple arithmetic and overcharging people. I find this especially egregious as it's done in the name of the State, and I'm fairly certain they're not sending all of these collected funds from online transactions to the State, but likely pocketing the difference instead.
This occurred over a week ago on the Logan's Roadhouse website, and it's still occurring today (over a week later).
I told the hostess and asked for an explanation when pointing out with a screenshot, but she had no explanation.
I asked her to tell a manager so I could get my meal home for family, but it's doubtful this was pointed out at all.
Be very cautious with their website, as I'm not confident they're doing right by customers.
Go in & order DIRECTLY, or else you may get swindled for more of your hard-earned money than they should get.
Unfortunately I can't upload a screenshot of the website, but it's easily verifiable yourself by adding ONLY the dinner rolls to your shopping cart and see what happens.
I plan to call the restaurant directly and ask for Management to point out what happens to see what they say and if they...
Read moreAWFUL experience. I used to go to Logan's Roadhouse frequently and always had a positive experience. This time I ordered food to-go and when I got to the restaurant there was about a 20min wait. I figured the food would be fresh since I was waiting on it, but when I got to my car and checked everything, it was all lukewarm. The mozzarella sticks, fried fish, and fried shrimp all seemed as though they had been sitting out for quite some time like the food had been in the containers for awhile. I decided I would just take it home anyway and put in the oven for awhile because I didn't want to wait for them to remake it. The fried fish was also significantly smaller than the fish pictured on the menu, the pieces were the size of small chicken strips, but I let it go because, again, I didn't want to wait for them to remake it after I had already been waiting for so long. I also just really wanted Logan's. Anyway, I got home and was getting out my food and handing my partner theirs and they tried one of the waffle fries. It was hard. Like difficult to bite through hard, the fries had to have been from the previous day (Logan's opens at 11p and I placed my order at 1p). As I start looking more closely at the food I notice my baked potato isn't cooked all the way, the rolls are stale, the broccoli is overcooked and mushy. Basically nothing was freshly prepared or prepared correctly. I live 20min away, but I spent $85 so I wasn't going to just let it go. I made the drive back to the restaurant and they gave me my money back, but still. This was by far one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. I feel like they tried to get away with serving old, poorly prepared, insufficient food bc I was a to-go customer and they thought I wouldn't have made the effort to go get my money back. I will never be back and here and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this...
