Luna Pizza never fails to disappoint! Quality pies with fresh ingredients, and comes out fast. Prices are fair and the pizza is delicious! Don't miss out on the 1/2 price Mondays, they are an incredible deal. Make sure to call ahead for takeout though as it gets very busy on Mondays. Vibe: modern, low-light, cozy restaurant with lots of seating and parking out front. Good for large parties. Service: Excellent! Always very nice and helpful. One time on a busy Monday night, our pizza took a little longer than they estimated and they gave us free cookies as compensation - not necessary but a nice touch that we really appreciated. Food: Amazing! Pizzas are loaded with toppings and the ingredients taste fresh. When we dined in, they provided fresh oregano and shaved parmesan. We've tried the pepperoni, Margherita, and mushroom pizzas. The pepperoni are little bombs of flavor, and the cheese pull on all these pies is great. Mushrooms on that pie are super savory and fresh too. The whipped ricotta is fantastic, and we pretty much add it onto any pizza we get because it's so good.

Came to Luna after hearing they had sourdough pizza crust and wanted to try something new. We came in and the place has a funky modern vibe with cool decor and a variety of board and table games for patrons to enjoy. The staff was super friendly and happy to answer questions we had about the menu. Once we ordered our food came out pretty quick. Their Caesar salad was delicious, their dressing is freshly made and they have fresh parmesan cheese and crunchy croutons. We ordered a small and that was more than enough for two of us to share. We also got the spinach and artichoke dip which had a nice spicy kick at the end. The pizza was the real star of the show though, the sourdough crust is light, nice cripsy finish and a mild sourdough flavor. Toppings are fresh and the little accompaniment of sage, freshly shaved parmesan and hot pepper flakes really elevate the pizza flavor. This location was a bit chilly when we went so I would recommend a light sweater or jacket if you are someone who gets cold easily.

i was craving some delicious pizza. walked in and wasn't really greeted by anyone altho i looked around and it said order here so i went. i was surprised that they didnt have much pizza choices on the menu considering it's a pizza restaurant. service was ok. the card game section was prob my fav. i liked how arugula and prosciutto came on the side, because it gives me flexibility to eat as a cheese pizza, cheese and arugula pizza etc. i personally didnt like the prosciutto it tasted like an animal and also maybe cuz i normally dont eat meat that much and never on pizza except pepperoni. i loved how they pre-sliced the pieces so you can pick it up and eat it right away. the pizza wasnt too greasy and the toppings didnt fall our when you lift up the pizza. the inside is very loud and cold. parking is easy. im not sure if id come back because nothing's special about this place compared to other pizza places. btw you can make your own pizza.

All Hyped & No Substance! I am so disappointed. I was tired; I was hungry. I stepped into their Yale location in the Heights & ordered one of their specialty pizza, "the Mushrooms". It sounded sensational & exotic: baby portobello mushroom, shitake mushroom, oyster mushroom...& Yes, your regular button mushroom is included, too, with spinach, rosemary & whipped ricotta cheese! Unfortunately, that's all hyped & no substance. The button mushroom is kept at its regular size, about 3/4 of an inch (19.5 millimeters). The other exotic mushrooms are chopped... into 2-millimeters squares??? So I received a regular mushroom pizza with tiny, dry specs of something. When I gently showed the cashier a slice of my pizza & asked where are all the other mushrooms, she showed me their mix, where the 2-millimeters of "whatever" are seen among the 19-millimeters mushroom slices! When I gently complained that if they were to chopped the mushrooms, then they should chopped-up all the mushrooms, so they would all be equal in size... the curt response from the manager in charge on that day was, "That's our recipe." How pathetic! No service; no mushrooms (Hihi); no sense of "fairplay"; no respect for my money! When I asked to speak to the manager of the place, his reply was, "Just a minute; I will deal with you in just a minute." So I ignored him & asked another employee for the name of the actual manager, there, because this guy, with his manners and his answers to me as a customer, could not possibly be The Manager! He insisted, "I am the manager; I am in charge, here." I looked at the other employee & I enunciated, "I want the name of your store manager. Who is your store manager?" He looked uncomfortable & said, "He is the manager in charge," while the other guy kept on babling something about him being in charge & him being the manager... So I insisted to the other employee, "Give me the name of your actual store manager!" Guess what? It took a total of four times asking before he realized that I knew there must be someone else in charged... (more trained, more courteous, and more knowledgeable in customer service, maybe?) So he gave me her name, but couldn't give me her phone number when I asked; told me that I could call her through the store's phone number, but he couldn't give me his store's phone number & told me to look it up in their menu... Again, an inept & inadequate customer service. Why would you tell an irate customer to go find your own restaurant's menu for your own restaurant's phone number when you're right there by the phone & the cash register & the menus??? Finally, it dawned on both employees that I was serious about complaining... So they both said, one after the other, "She is gone, now, but she will be right back." I asked for a box to go & walked away. The "crude" dude manager then realized that maybe I shouldn't be charged for an un-wanted pizza, after all, so he had another employee ran out to put my money on the table as I was leaving, which caused me to leave a $1 tip because I did drink their water! Hihihi. Yep, definitely not...

I have very mixed feelings about my experience at Luna Pizzaria. Three stars is more of an average than a comprehensive rating. If I were to rate the individual components, service would get a 5, atmosphere a 4, pizza a 3, value a 2, and truth in advertising a 1.

The restraunt is in a building that has the same floorplan as a Blaze's or Mod pizza (it was probably one that went out of business), and advertises "custom pizzas". These are not, however, the choose whatever toppings you like flash fired pizzas served at those stores.

Seeing as I was already inside, and I'm always up to try out a new pizza place, I ordered a "custom" personal pizza and a drink (unlimited refills). The pizza came with two toppings (I had to pay extra for a third). It was decent (for a baked pizza), but it took much longer to come out than expected, especially given the small number of people waiting. Not exactly worth the $16.24 plus tip I paid.

The quality service and wonderful atmosphere made the price worth it, but I'd rather have known up front what I was actually paying for or had mediocre service, plastic booths, and a great pizza. I got my own drink (in an actual glass) and sat down. I was immediately impressed by the table setting. There were cloth napkins and real silverware, at each place. Shortly, an employee came and took the extra settings. Whenever I finished my drink, he appeared beside me almost immediately to refill it for me. There was also an impressive assortment of games, although I was unable to take advantage eating alone.

This place is a strange cross between a build your own pizza place, a proper pizzaria, and a fairly nice restaurant. I won't say it takes the worst of each, but it definitely doesn't get any of them right. I'm probably not coming back, but it certainly wasn't a...

The food is good but the staff are thieves. Great food but stealing staff! My husband son and I came down to Houston to check in on some business we have down in Texas and we ate and my 8 month old son was so excited to eat, his gold bracelet engraved with his name came off. We noticed as soon as we got back to our Airbnb and called, they said they had it and the busboy gave it to the manager on duty,, he informed us he would call and did not. The next day, we decided to stop in before eating and heading to airport as they did say they had it and when we got there, he told me that it was behind the register and probably thrown away. If your the manager is it not your job when your busboy gives you a gold bracelet left by a customer to lock it in the safe or office desk? He said he'd give me a call and a week later, I had to call in because I did not receive a call. To steal from a 8 month old child something so precious is really sad. Then after about 3 weeks I spoke to the GM who called after trying to reach the owner of Luna Pizzeria said she'd compensate us for it missing and give me a call. 2-3 weeks passed and no call, so I called her and she said the owner said too much time had passed... what? Since day one and week after week I waited on a resolution and the last I talked to them, we were told they would compensate. It is now 2 months and 2 days since and I am surely looking for a lawyer. It is the principle at this point, it's sentimental and my baby's first piece of jewelry, I will not allow anyone to just pawn it and keep their job and we are the ones that are without the jewelry and the money it took to buy it. I am deeply disappointed and want everyone who goes to buy pizza allotted the respect of getting their things especially when...
