Maga's — Restaurant in Houston

The first thing I noticed about this Small business was it was Hott and not in a good way, Air conditioning was off, then I noticed a weird odor that's why Atmosphere got a one star. I Loved the paintings on the wall, I thought it looked really cute. When we walked in I noticed our waiter looking at us and in my mind I thought great, We are probably going to get Excellent Customer service, He came over took our drink order I asked if they had Soda Waters, I honestly think I confused him, the person I was with finally said coke and he understood after that he went M.I.A., then a new person appeared 10 minutes later and took our Food order we decided to order the Avacado Eggs Benedict it took approximately 30 minutes for our order, I don't have a problem waiting but unfortunately everything was Cold I gave the Food 2 Star's because of the Presentation of the Egg's and not the ice cold potatoes, If my food would have been hot or at least warm I would have given it 4 Star's.. It's customary for the waitress, waiters to ask if you need anything else, our waitress literally dumped the plates in front of us and took off like the kitchen was on fire and she was going to put it out . I had to Flagg our waitress down several time's I wanted some salsa and extra Napkins she seem annoyed, Service is definitely a 1 star.. I'm not here giving a horrible review and obviously this is My Opinion about my visit, Would I go back? Yes, I believe in giving second chances and I do recommend people supporting Small business. I hope my next visit is better than the first time and if it is I will update this review.. As for pricing $$. $35.00 Two Egg's Benedict, Coffee and a Soda...

1st time and last time. Went here because I heard nothing but rave reviews of how it so good, etc. We arrived as a table was leaving putting us as the only ones dining in. Ordered a burrito (which said chicken fajita but found bits of steak too with chicken). It came rolled up on a large flour tortilla that was crisped up on a press but made it brittle plus it was only rolled up, neither end was closed off so, 1st bite, everything fell out. My wife had some queso and chips bc that's what she was craving and she perhaps enjoyed hers. Our daughter got chicken strips and those were very bland. No season at all (not even basic salt and pepper) in the flour mixture so she didn't enjoy them. Not gonna bang on the price of the kids meal but found it odd that it was the most expensive thing on our bill as the burrito was about a $1 less. Now the service was also lacking bc again as the only people eating here at the time, I had to flag down the waitress on 3 separate occasions for more water or chips while we waited for the food. So not sure what the hub bub about this place was but I'll go to ruchies, or taqueria arandas over this place for a more authentic and attentive experience. Best of luck on...

Came here for breakfast and with my dad (a picky eater) and we both enjoyed it. He didn’t have anything to complain about which never happens so that alone deserves 5 stars lol Service was great, staff was super friendly. We were never waiting too long if at all for coffee refills. Our server was checking in on us frequently enough despite being the only one running food and handling the register. Food was delicious and filling. The pancakes stole the show. They were the perfect amount of fluffy and juuuuuust the right amount of doughy (I like it). They have very chill music in the background. It wasn’t packed when we went at 9am or so. The omelette was packed with good stuff and they were generous with the bacon. Our check was reasonable for the amount of food that we ordered.
