Manchu Hotpot is a fantastic all-you-can-eat hotpot spot that offers a warm and enjoyable dining experience. The soup broth is flavorful and satisfying, perfect base for a delicious meal. They offer a wide variety of side dishes, from fresh vegetables to noodles, easy to customize your hotpot just the way you like it. One of the highlights of Manchu Hotpot is their friendly and attentive staffs. The service is consistently good, and the team makes you feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout your meal. The owner personally comes around to each table to check in, which adds a thoughtful, personal touch to the experience. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with a modern yet cozy ambiance, and the space is comfortable for both small groups and larger gatherings. While the meat selection is a bit limited compared to other hotpot places, they do offer seafood options to balance things out. A pleasant bonus is that beverages and desserts are included in the price—something not all hotpot spots offer. Overall, Manchu Hotpot delivers great value and a satisfying experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving a comforting and flavorful hotpot meal.

First time at Man Chu Hotpot and I quite enjoyed it! There are three meat and seafood menu tiers to choose from, and on weekends, they default to the full selection. Y9u get to choose up to 4 different broth. The Thai hotpot, Mala and tomato broth were really good! What *really* stands out are the appetizers, drinks, and desserts. The **soup măng cua **, **chân gà sốt Thái**, and **phá lấu** were all flavorful and satisfying. We tried the **nước sâm**—super refreshing! They also offer green Thai tea, milk tea, and soft drinks. Desserts were a hit—the **panna cotta** was silky and delicious, especially the **passion fruit** and **kiwi** flavors. There was also **chè**, but we were too full to try it. We went on a Sunday as a group of five, and the service was excellent—staff were friendly, polite, and very attentive. **Overall: Man Chu gets a solid thumbs-up for its unique special items and great service.** Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a hotpot with a twist.

Amazing Hotpot Experience at Manchu Hotpot on Bellaire! We had a fantastic dining experience at Manchu Hotpot on Saturday evening! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and were incredibly friendly throughout our visit. The owners and their staff checked in with us often to make sure we had everything we needed, which made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. We loved that they offered four flavorful broth choices: the bold and spicy mala soup, tangy Thai spicy sour soup, rich and earthy mushroom soup, and the creamy longevity milk soup—each one brought something special to the table. There was also a great variety of Vietnamese desserts to choose from, which was a sweet way to end the meal. A thoughtful bonus: they gave out free toys for kids, which made the experience even more enjoyable for families. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a flavorful hotpot and excellent service!

I will give us a four just because there should be lenient when it comes to a new restaurant. It was a bit slow that day. I did enjoy the free drinks. It is a big spot. I think that could be utilized a little bit better because there was two fridge with the same stuff. Overall, the spot is not bad, but could be better with more variety and maybe more tending to the items there.

Appetizers 3/5 All the food items that were out were kind of just room temperature not really hot. The foods that were there was just OK.

Service 4/5 Service was okay because initially it was really attentive and then I guess it’s just slow and they dispersed. The meat selections were decent. Nothing really stood out.

Broth 3/5 I myself did not enjoy the broth too much. I can see why certain people would like the broth though.

Tum yum 1/5 It was sweet, but not just that it had a artificial pineapple taste very fragrant and I didn’t really enjoy that

Tomatoes 3/5 I like this one more than I thought I would typically not a tomato person. but overall, I was a decent, bro, not too strong, but not also bland.

Mala 3/5 This one was awesome. OK, I think I really disliked it when I tried it by itself. After cooking food in it and I guess the flavor just tasted a bit better dipping the food and it wasn’t that bad.

Regular mild 5/5 I think this was a solid one typically the regular flavors are very bland but this one had a good seasoning

Milk tea 5/5 My brothers enjoyed this a lot

Tropical tea 4/5 This one was OK.

Brown tea 5/5 This was my favorite.

Meats 4/5 This one was decent. Nothing really stood out or I’m just like oh I really want that again. But I also didn’t dislike it. It was OK.

Sauces 5/5 It’s a good sauce area. Had the essentials.

Dessert 3/5 So they were actually out of ice. I did like the idea that they’re going for which was nice, but I felt like it was not...

Right off the bat, service was already lackluster. We had gotten seated by a server, not even greeted. As soon as we sat, the same server started asking us for our orders after we mentioned we had never been there. The experience was not that good to begin with and essentially set the tone overall for our dinner. We got to try 4 of the 5 broth options. All were super bland and did not meet any expectations of what they were supposed to taste like. The meat looked pretty however the taste did not match as the broth was so bland and the quality of the meat itself was not so great. As the sauce bar had mostly 2 of the same items, there was not much chance to save the broth with any seasoning aside from the little amount of fish sauce they provided. Not even salt was provided. This was the same for the 3 provided stations around the restaurant to help yourself to other items like noodles, vegetables, and fish balls. Variety was severely lacking here and there was not any of the common favorites for hot pot like quail eggs or let alone lettuce. The appetizers provided under the heat lamp were actually good. The desserts and help yourself drink stations were a good touch as well. Other than that, we more than likely will choose to not ever return and we will stick to the ones that are always good like Shabu Zone and Liuyishou. We asked everyone in our party what their honest thoughts were and this is a culmination of their feedback, most of us scoring the experience overall as a 5/10 and myself a 3/10 based on my experiences...

It was barely busy and they weren’t taking the old plates when they’d walk by so my party of 5 had no room to eat at the table since it was full of all the empty raw meat plates and other appetizer plates. Then I had 2 friends pay and leave while us other 3 stayed a little longer. We were waiting for about 20 minutes for someone to walk by so we could order more meat. Finally 2 of the 3 people of our party paid and we went to find someone so the last one could pay and they kept saying our friend from earlier didn’t pay when we kept telling them the last friend right here hasn’t paid yet they kept saying the one that left didn’t pay and it went back and forth over and over and finally they let the last friend pay so we could leave. Idk if there was a language barrier or what but how are us last 3 people going to tell you over and over that the person standing in front of you hasn’t paid and wants to pay but you want to blame the guy that left 30 minutes earlier was the last one that needed to pay. The food was good but the service was not very good despite us being the only people on the entire left side of the restaurant. The tables are kinda small for more than like 3 people to eat at once especially with all the...
