While in town for the Chevron Marathon, we were staying at the Double Tree Hilton at Hobby Airport and we were looking for a decent Mexican restaurant. A few were near that we've hit before so we wanted to try a new place and this popped up in our search only 5mins from the hotel. Pulling up into the front parking around 12:30pm, it did worry us there wasn't many cars there for a Sat lunch, but it's how we've found many other great places so we went in to give it a shot. Many have a staff shortage but we were very impressed of the Hostess there to show us sitting options since we were prob the only party there, but had a bar tender and a few waitresses. Our waitress come over and was super nice. Took our order while another person dropped chips and plenty of red and green salsas. So far all good, along with sweet tea that matched our critical thirst for true sweet tea and not something that requires multiple packs of sugar to get it right. We ordered enchiladas with a cheese sauce on top and Tacos AL Carbon. The enchiladas turned out really good but the AL Carbon fajita meat didn't taste so good and had a faint smell. It had plenty of meat and it's quite possible they just use a marinade different than my taste. We still recommend trying this place to get your own reviews since the place has great potential with very nice folks who work there and it was mostly all really good but our 1 visit will require another to see if the fajita meat improves to what we're used to.

Hello my Foodies! I have been on some adventures and found myself in Texas. I found this place in Houston and decided to try it. It's basically Texmex, not my preferred taste, but I decided to try since it was close to my hotel. The food was ok, not the best flautas I've ever had. The only two things that were actually delicious were the hand-made flour tortillas and the pozole soup. Those two were excellent and well made. The flavor was spot on with the pozole, and the tortillas tasted like mom in the kitchen 😋. The server, I believe, was named Yaritza. My apologies if I misspelled it. She was awesome. She provided great service and took great care of us. I even got to take some tortillas home! Yes, folks, they came all the way back home with me to Jersey along with that pozole! If you're in the area, I would recommend the place just for those two items. Overall, the food wasn't terrible, but it was missing something. The atmosphere was still nice and friendly and you get huge drink cups so you don't need a million refills. They do have free refills on soda. Live your best life, my friends, and see what's out there to eat!

SERVICE - The service was excellent. From the Host, to my server, and even the bussers all had positive attitudes and very quick service. Some guy spilled His drink and within seconds it was cleaned up and proper “wet floor signs” were put in place. ATMOSPHERE - It was a packed but fun experience. Definitely more of a place to grab a drink and watch a game or partake in happy hour. Too loud to experience a good sit down restaurant type of experience. FOOD - This is why I gave the rating I did. Presentation wise it looked great but everything I ordered was tasteless. I was searching around my table for a salt shaker (which they don’t have on the tables) cause nothing had flavor at all. I actually stopped eating my meal and just ate chips and salsa the rest of the time cause at least the spice from the salsa had some flavor.

I have been here 1 time in my life very recently, and that experience was more than enough for me to say this is now my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Houston. This is actually very surprising because anyone with common sense should know the level of Tex Mex competition in Houston.

I wish I had asked the bartender his name before leaving this review because he was just awesome. He is so good at his job and one of the friendliest people I have met in Houston. I was born and raised in Houston, so that is really high praise.

Aside from his excellent service, the food was delicious, the environment/vibe was awesome, and I could tell that every single person in the restaurant loved being there.

Great work, guys. I do not know your history or how long you have been operating this location, but I hope you stay there and maintain your excellence for the long haul.

From my perspective, I know exactly where to meet my Tex Mex needs whenever I am staying in the Hobby Airport area. I would also be remiss if I did not compliment his drinks. They were excellent, and that man (so sorry for not knowing your name, brother 🙏) is awesome at his craft.

Please keep it up and never change. Whatever magic you guys have working for you, please do everything in your power to never lose it. There are so many subpar establishments in this day and age, and it is so refreshing to be able to receive this level of quality of service, food, and drinks from you guys.

Seriously, thank you. You...

If I could give zero stars I would. I never been treated like this ever. I ordered from them thru Ubereats before so I decided to visit the location and brought my family. I never leave reviews but it is important that I share my experience to the vegetarian community. My family ordered their normal dishes and when I ordered my vegetarian dish, the waiter looked at me like he didn't know they had a vegetarian dish. I told him they offer it online, and he looked at me like I was lying. I immediately asked for the manager, and he wasn't any help at all. In fact, he acted as if it was normal for the waiter to be rude to a paying customer. He then said well I will create a vegetarian plate just for you and charge you for chicken fajitas with vegetables. I asked why because that's not how I order it online and the cost is much cheaper. He said they should have been charging me more all along and managed to take his time to create an order that costed much more than the cost of some quesadillas with spinach and vegetables like I always order. I was clearly upset and he didn't care. So we left our dishes there uneaten and walk out. Worst customer service ever. I am not about to pay more for only vegetables but my receipt reads chicken with vegetables. He never acknowledged us when we began to walk out or anything. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN PAYING FOR RUDE...
