Chilos Bellfort #1 — Restaurant in Houston

Hello 👋 My name is Sir AwesomeFoe OnYT🎊. It was a Decent visit. Let me explain. Firstly, There signs of possible property damage covered with tape and paint, light switches hanging from walls which may indicate a electrical problem and people coming in selling roses, balloons, and songs. The service was nice, very kind, my family enjoyed the seafood except for the bean soup (Frijoles charros) was extremely salty. They make a decent piña coloda both virgin and alcoholic. Now the kid burger is what I ordered since I do not consume seafood. The patty is cooked from frozen, you can easily notice from the texture, size and how the patty is cooked. The cheese is from pasteurized, it was burnt on the ends but soft in the middle, normal cheese is not like that. The bacon is crispy and delicious. Definitely one of the biggest highlights from the burger. Despite it being from frozen, it does have some juice to it. The burger is paired with fries. Now the fries are also from frozen. The problem with the fries is not that it isn't cooked well, it was, the problem the type of fries provided will not hold much flavor like a real potato thus it doesn't match what you expect. For a party of 7, the bill was 150+ plus the 15% gratuities, came out to 170 or so. So if you are planning to eat here, it about 24$ a person roughly speaking....

For the price of their food, I just expected a little better. I've had seafood delivered to my home that tasted better. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp by the pound. The others in my party mostly ordered seafood as well but they did offer parilladas for someone not wanting seafood. For what I ordered, the sauce the shrimp were served in was overly salted. The only thing that helped me eat the shrimp was dipping them in a chipotle sauce that the pasta had. My mother ordered their seafood pasta. As for the other food ordered, I can't comment much on those. The only other thing that I disliked was being served in dirty and old dishes. My sister received her agua de horchata with a lip stained cup. Yes we checked, my sister had no lipstick and she was using the straw provided. My boyfriend and I also received dirty cups with residue. My bowl with the shrimp was also chipped at the edges. It all really came down to the taste. I can overlook the dishes, which is still unsanitary, but I know how restaurants wash dishes. I've done it before. I've just had better seafood to compare it too. Service was outstanding though. Our waitress checked on us nonstop. Very friendly...

Horrible place and customer service. Waitress and manager were not helpful. I ordered tostadas de camarón and pulpo asked if it had tartar sauce since most seafood places put tartar sauce and on the description does not say it came with any sauce. The waitress told me it had no sauce. When I received the tostases they were soaked in ketchup (cocktail sauce) I kindly asked to have them changes since I was not informed it came with that sauce and the waitress did not tell me they had any sauce. The waitress was Rude and had an attitude, I understand it was late but I was hungry too. She said they could "clean" but definitely will not changed them. Then manager comes and she had the worst attitude she acted like we're stupid for not knowing the tostadas came with ketchup. I sent the tostadas back obviously, the manager never offered to changed them. Unless you are a men that tips very good, if you are a women they will treat you like trash. All waitress and manager kept looking at us mean mugging. Never going back to this place. It's sad because the other food I was told was good but don't even want to try it after the horrible...
