Pretty disappointed in this visit. We definitely will not be returning to this location. The food was ok, definitely not good as it usually is at Pappas. We could tell the food had been sitting under the heaters for a while. Our guac that came with the meal was already browning, the “taco” that came with my meal was a tortilla with meat in it and absolutely nothing else..the tortilla itself was soggy. The soup was bland and the tortilla strips that come on it were already soggy when it was dropped off. I had to dig around them to try and get anything that was actually solid. We waited forever for our drinks, and when we finally received them we only got 2/3 of the drinks we ordered. The other one took 35-40+ minutes to come out. I could understand if it was busy, but it was slow and servers were standing around talking by the wait station. When our queso finally came out 25 min after we ordered it, we had no silverware or napkins or anything. And we were pretty much out of chips. We had to call over a different server to ask for silverware, a spoon for our queso and more chips. Our server finally came over and told us that the missing drink had been brought to a different table. We were within view of the bar the whole time and never even saw the drink come out, let alone be taken to a different table. I’m pretty sure the order was just never put in. Mgmt is definitely not staying on top of the servers here and making sure the customers are receiving quality service. I won’t complain about our server because most of this was out of her control, and I know she was busy with at least 3 other tables. And yes, I still tipped 20% because I have been a server before. But I’m hoping management sees this and changes are made, because there is no reason to be here for an hour during a slow lunch hour and still not...

When we first arrived a family of 6 celebrating husband’s birthday, the host was seating us all the way in the back where employees were cleaning forks and dishes 😒 so I said no and why here…? when they could have just cleaned some tables so I said no we want another table so they had us wait while they cleaned, so by then I said forget it I’ll wait for an outside table. The waitress took a while to get to us, we had questions about menu items and alcoholic drinks but she seemed to be new or didn’t know what was in the menu, so we ordered for our kids and our drinks and since we didn’t know what we wanted yet we kindly asked to bring kids their food and drink. She gave us our drinks in parts and missing waters and missing items for the kids. We kindly waited and when we were ready to order our food we were already stuffed with chips and salsa we even forgot we hadn’t ordered and she herself said oh yeah’ so we ordered and didn’t get our food until about 45min later once it arrived she still hadn’t delivered our drinks. I would recommend to the manager to educate their staff on what they are selling to the customer and have some idea on what beers come in a can or bottle. This was the worst experience we have had as a family at a restaurant, we all know how the economy is right now and for a family to go out and spend $$$ on a restaurant is not something everyone can do right now, this was suppose to be a luxury for our family to go out and spend on what we thought was going to be amazing which turned out to be the worst experience at a restaurant. Moving on, for this to still be on my mind and wanting to ensure I do this is a testimony of the authenticity of my experience! So I placed an order Friday night 8.29.25 @ approx. 9:33pm. And please allow me start with accolades being given first and foremost to the chef/cook that night!!!!!! My goodness the redfish he delicately and deliciously prepared is one for the books! Let me tell you why they’re so important when a restaurant closes at 10 and you have a late bloomer placing an order. People tend to get lack of days ago and that’s within good reason because the momentum for them and the adrenaline starts to slow down but that man prepared my fish as if I were the Cousin of the CEO of Pappasito’s my server was equally delightful, but that red fish you have to order it, and experience it to truly understand. how delicious it is and how perfectly he cooked it. And when you’re a natural foodie like me, these type of things truly make a difference! I called and provided feedback to Jessie who connected me with Taylor and both were so pleasant, willing, and accommodating to step away from their busy tasks in operating that restaurant to allow me to provide feedback! But if we can take out time to complain, we can certainly take out time to acknowledge when things are above our expectations and that Chef delivered beyond my expectations.
