Cole Creek Park — Attraction in Houston

Really nice park, we lived in this neighborhood for awhile and they have a great paved walking/running trail. I think people even drive to this park who live in other places because it gets very crowded on weekends and evenings. The only problem I had here was during a late evening walk, we walked passed the playground and up jumped a startled person who was apparently sleeping in the slide. We thought maybe it was an accident but the next night it happened again, and we figured out that he was living there and using the slide to sleep in. Also it tends to get very dark, but I don't mind that. There is still enough natural illumination to see clearly at night. It doesn't...

Nice community park. Nice track for walking/running. Playground equipment is fun for kids. Could use a public restroom, watched a kid run around with his pants off because he had to go potty. Yikes, cover up kiddo! Could use a bit more cleaning, or the people who go there could clean up after themselves. Had to swat my kiddo's hand from trying to pick up water bottles, fast food containers, etc. Watched another child pick up a fast food container and proceed to play with it. It's a small but nice park. They have tennis courts, as well as, a walking path. I've seen people walking their dogs, so I believe the park is dog friendly. There is also a nice playground so it is a good park to bring the kids. Even though it isn't a very large park, it still has plenty to do there to keep the family occupied for an hour or two. So, overall, I would say that Cole Creek Park is a nice, family...
