I can't say enough good things about my experience at Plume. From the moment I walked in, the decor set the tone chic, inviting, and full of character. The staff? Absolutely top tier. Attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience for every guest. I felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Now let’s talk food: the chicken biscuits were golden, flaky perfection; the flatbread was flavorful and fresh; the skillet egg and potatoes comfort food at its finest; and the shrimp and grits were on another level. Every dish was seasoned to perfection and plated with care. And let’s talk drinks the mixology was top-notch! The agave lemon drop was smooth and refreshing, the Mexican candy shots brought just the right kick, and the $65 bottles were a great value for the quality. Whether you’re sipping or celebrating, they’ve got you covered. The cherry on top? I came on the first Sunday of the month to their '90s theme party, and it was a whole vibe. DJ T. Gray absolutely crushed it with a legendary '90s hip-hop set nothing but classics from the greats. The energy was infectious, and the music had everyone on their feet or vibing in their seats. Huge shoutout to the entire Plume team for making it such a memorable experience. It’s clear y’all put your heart into what you do, and it shows. I’ll be back!

I had the pleasure of dining at Plume last night, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the thoughtfully curated ambiance—chic, modern, and effortlessly sophisticated. The interior design strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort, creating an inviting atmosphere ideal for both intimate dinners and social gatherings. The culinary experience exceeded expectations. Each dish was artfully presented and full of flavor, clearly crafted with attention to detail and quality ingredients. The cocktail menu was equally impressive, offering a creative selection that was as visually appealing as it was well-balanced. What truly stood out was the service. The staff was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the evening, enhancing the overall experience without ever feeling intrusive. Plume is a standout addition to Houston’s dining and nightlife scene. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for an elevated evening out, this spot delivers on every level. I’ll absolutely be returning—and recommending it to others.

Plume in Houston was a major disappointment. We were greeted promptly upon arrival, which set our expectations high, but the experience quickly went downhill from there. Our first round of drinks took over 30 minutes to arrive, and while we received a polite apology, it was frustrating. We gave it another shot and ordered a second round, only to wait another 30 minutes for our cocktails. The wait staff did their best and were genuinely friendly, but it's clear the bar is either severely understaffed or the bartenders lack the necessary experience. One of the biggest issues is the extensive cocktail menu that simply can't be supported by the current staff. If you can't deliver, why have such a menu? To add to the disappointment, the decor, while nicely done in some aspects, has a major faux pas—the fake grass. It completely ruins the ambiance and comes off as cheesy rather than chic. Removing it would go a long way in improving the overall vibe of the place. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Plume until they address these issues.

Disappointing Experience with Plume Reservations Process

This place might not be the best for professionals - maybe social media influencers.

I attempted to make a reservation at Plume and was quite disappointed by the entire process. From the very beginning, communication was poor. When I called to make a reservation for a party of four, I was told to do it online, even though the website clearly states that reservations are only accepted for groups of six or more. When I mentioned this, the host advised me to move forward and leave a note indicating the reservation was for four people, which was not a great start.

To make matters worse, the online reservation process required me to provide social media details, which felt invasive and unnecessary, especially considering all my accounts are private. I ultimately provided my LinkedIn (which is public) but still found it odd and unprofessional to ask for such personal information just to reserve a table.

As a group of professional women— not social media influencers—we simply wanted to enjoy a casual evening out over drinks. The process, however, continued to unravel. Instead of a confirmation call, I received an email requesting a credit card to hold the reservation. When I called to follow up, I was told they didn’t even have my reservation on file.

At that point, I decided to cancel the reservation altogether, and thankfully, we ended up having an amazing time at Bandista at the Four Seasons Houston. While I was initially excited to try Plume, the poor communication and invasive booking process left a bad impression, and I won’t be recommending it based on...

We didn't order food but I'm sure it was delicious. The atmosphere was spot on for a trendy night out. We are excited to go back on a regular night. The only reason I'm giving a 3 star service review was because we went on a last minuite NYE Date. So we anticipated it would be tough to get in anywhere. We were very pleased when we called and told that there would be space for standing room only that included roaming appetizers and a champaign toast at midnight. When we arrived to Plume two front door people confirmed that was included in the $25.00 cover. Upon entering we were excited about the decor and ambiance with the jazz band and singing performance. We found a standing table ordered drinks. As we stood the appetizers were roaming right past us. We just had dinner at The Kennedy so, we weren't starving by any means but we're curious to sample some of the food offerings. When we asked our waitress about it she informed us it was not included. She asked who told us and I confirmed that I was told on the phone and before entering that it was inclusive. Long story short I did feel it should have still been honored because we were told it was inclusive, but we also understand things are chaotic when planning an event and communication can be misunderstood. In the end we are looking forward to going back and experiencing Plume on a...
