Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Houston

I ordered online with my husband and the app said 5:59 my order would be ready. With the order number being #71. We ordered two can dine spicy white meat and two sides each. So I can go in at 5:59 and Ashley helps me and I inquire about the order. She told me no spicy chicken I would have to wait. Okay I'm not really tripping simply because I know it'll be fresh. She says I can go outside to wait for my order but something told me not, so I stayed inside watching. The atomoshepere was so not customer friendly.

Employees-

Jada : Was the only one really working trying to knock the customers out the way. Very friendly and approachble I'm sure everyone She helped loved there speedy service.

Ashley : Went to the bathroom about 4x, I guess she was overwhelmed or didn't feel like attending to the customers. Her worth ethic and customer service seem very poor.

Manager Laniece (Ashely gave me her name) or whatever her name was because she didn't have a name tag on. Which she should've been wearing like everyone else. Looked so sloppy and lazy until it was unreal. She was on her phone or doing something in the corner for awhile. If you seen her she would've immediately came off as worthless to the company.

Last but not least the cook/chicken fryer came in smelling like a pound of Marijuana. Even me and Jada made mutual eye contact like omg did he really do that. Lobby was left smelling like someone was actively smoking Marijuana in the place.

Waited for about 35mins for some chicken got in my car at 635/640 after my order was supposed to be ready at 559pm. I won't be back to this location , fries was cold and since my experience was poor my chicken didn't taste the...

FIRST. we waited in line for 20 minutes. We finally was able to order our food the lady sounded like she didn’t want to be at work, I told her I wanted 5 pieces tenders MILD!! because I’m pregnant and can’t have spicy foods. We finally got to the window, horrible customer service she didn’t even greet us, she walked around eating and everyone in the back seemed like they were not doing their job, NO SPEED OF SERVICE - It look another 20 minutes the lady at the window didn’t even say sorry it’s taking so long.. we just watched them do whatever they wanted. So we finally received our food my boyfriend asked the lady did the 4 piece chicken come with a breast the lady said “ yes and rudely said if that’s what you want that’s what ima give you” my boyfriend didn’t even get to finish his sentence and she closed the window. I asked her did we have our sweet heat sauce she didn’t even say anything, we finally asked for the manager and he seemed to not care about the service that was given, he said she wasn’t being rude etc. but I got home & my tenders were SPICY!! threw up and called this place spoke with the manger, he stated for me to come back and make the food fresh now we are sitting in a LONGER LINE!!!!! waiting for these people to remake my food. THIS IS HORRIBLE SERVICE AND THIS PLACE NEEDS NEW FOLKS WHO WANT TO WORK AND NOT HAVE ATTITUDES!!!

This is absolutely the worst popeyes I have ever been to. I’ve never had a positive experience here before. Here are some experiences I’ve had:

Encountered a random dude (not even ordering) get aggressive and verbally threatened me when I walked in and asked if he was in line, and then he tried looking for an employee before getting told off by a manager. Ordered just a spicy chicken sandwich at the counter and watched as the one that was meant for me get given away to someone else who came after me, extending my wait time by another 20 minutes. Ordered online for pick up 20 minutes ahead of time in anticipation of a long wait time only to get there and have them forget a portion of my order, having to wait an additional 20-30 minutes for them to finish my order Ordered online for drive-thru pick up just to get stuck in a line that didnt move for nearly 30 minutes at one point

I don’t know how this popeye’s is still standing, but given that its the only one in the area, im guessing everyone has no other popeyes to go to.

My recommendation: drive to a different popeyes because I guarantee the extra travel time is shorter than the wait time for the food at...
