Greetings. I am writing to express my experience for the first time at this establishment. This review can be summed up in two things. Terrible “bedside manner/hospitality” and dishonesty on a small but important level. I have not had a massage in over 5 years, because of a horrible experience prior(in another state). My expectations before coming here were the following: greeted properly, introduced with the massage therapist, and maybe review what I was having done today. All with a smile and some level of happiness from the massage therapist. I decided to try this place because of the great reviews of Jennifer and Liky. Unfortunately I did not have a great experience nor did I leave feeling like I want or need to come back. Put plainly, I did not feel this location has a good hospitable manner. A massage is a personal intimate thing. Being greeted with a smile would have been nice once I walked in. I booked for Jennifer based on a review. Once I arrived and went into the room to change and was ready, a petite woman came in to do my massage. She did not introduce herself, tell me her name or anything. The only questions she asked within the first five mins was “ is the pressure too much” and i said yes, lighter please. It just seemed like business as usual and i felt like nothing but a number. For the amount of money spent I had expectations of leaving rejuvenated and feeling relaxed. On the contrary I left feeling upset and deeply saddened never wanting to do a massage for another 5 years. O yea, now i hava right knee pain i didnt have before coming in. The woman who did my massage I told her the pressure was too much and she eased up but it only lasted for probably 20 mins out of 2 hours session. Was I suppose to keep reminding her to ease up? I called and they told me they can only refund half the amount. Jennifer who was at the front desk (unbeknownst to me) was the person that I noted down in my intake form to do my massage she goes “oh sorry i am coughing/sick thats why i didnt do it, you had Olivia. I told Jennifer I would have appreciated the courtesy that you tell me this BEFORE i got a massage today. She also says “you could have at any time told her you dont like it.” Me: which i know I could have, i just thought it was going to get better. I am deeply upset and feel lied to because Jennifer did not do my massage nor seemed remorseful or understanding about it over the phone. I told her as a customer, i expect coming courtesy and honesty in calling or telling me once i get there “jennifer is not available to do your massage”. As a newbie, That way I have the option of leaving and avoiding a bad experience, as opposed to an unknown person who just comes in to do the massage. I am now left with some right knee pain and feeling tense and uneasy. Never again. I would advise anyone else to take their business elsewhere. Also, note to self if I ever got a massage from anywhere again to see if the individual is licensed and they have their licenses posted up inside the establishment. Lesson learned and I hope they will honor their word and remit the $85 out of...
Read moreDecided to come check them out after seeing all the great reviews. I purchased a Massage and a head spa appointment for Mother’s Day. I was immediately put into a room when I got there, which was nice that I didn’t have to wait. We started my massage first which was okay but no foot massage or calf massage really done. Then I am moved to a different room for my hair spa appointment. I lay in the chair and she gets started. This was my first hair spa ever so I wasn’t sure what to expect. She applied something into my head, (Not sure if it was shampoo or deep conditioner) places the product on my scalp and then rubs it down to my ends. Scrubs the product into my ends and then places my ends on top of my head to rub all of my hair together (Painful, Horrible tangles and knots creating) .Proceeded to do that 2 more times. Turns on the spa head to have the waterfall spray on my head. Leaves me like that for 15 minutes. So I sat there for about 15 minutes with water just running down my hair (waste of $180). She comes back and rinses it out one last time and lets me know I am done. I get out of the spa chair and she places me in a regular chair. She starts to massage my shoulders while my hair is wrapped in a towel. At this point I was over it but thought it was nice to get once last massage on my shoulders. As she’s massaging my shoulders, A LITERAL BABY ROACH CRAWLS ON MY CHEST ON MY SPA GOWN! At this point I’ve had enough, I’m done. She finished and left the room to let me blow dry my own hair. They have a Dyson which is cool. I untangle my hair with my brush I brought because the tangles are horrible. Blowdry all my hair which doesn’t feel great because it’s greasy and my scalp feels clammy, then the receptionist comes in to examine my scalp on the camera. She says the lady didn’t clean it right, she takes me BACK to a room to rinse it out all over again. I blow dry my hair AGAIN. This was my first head spa experience and it’s definitely unfortunate and even though their affordable, I probably...
Read moreReasonably priced for 1 hr full body massage. When I first walked in it smelled like Bengay ointment.
Professional over the phone secretary was just as professional and kind in person.
I was nervous because the area looked a little hood.
The decor was nice. After filling out the medical form I was taken back to my private room and given instructions for what clothes to leave on.
The soft music 🎶 and dim light was great. No bengay odor in my private room. Everything was clean and organized.
Silver lovely tray on table with light Asain cracker, mint and 1/2 glass of wine.
You have 5 min to get undressed and on the table before masseuse comes in so I took a few sips of wine and hurried to the table.
Masseuse was very friendly and professional. I didn't know what to expect since it was my first time.
Hot stone massage is now my new favorite massage. Now deep tissue for me. I have no stress.
Guest came into the room next door and they were really loud disturbing my peaceful massage about 30 min in.
The management might want to post a disclaimer to be quiet and respectful of other guests or they could be asked to leave with no refund.
Massage place should have the same respect as a library. Quiet because other people are studying.
Quiet because other people are relaxing.
Same concept same respect.
Other than that disturbance I would've given 5 stars.
If I could take the employees, add fancier decor, and move the location to more upscale class of people I'd...
