Tacos los brothers — Restaurant in Houston

Okay I have eaten at this food truck so many times I can’t even count anymore. However there are some things you should know . This is a family business owned by two brothers . Their food is delicious However they do cook differently . I don’t know their names (I should by now ) the brother with the shorter hair normally always in the grill ( it can be a hit or miss so say you want it crispy if not 8 x 10 your tacos will be soft even the birria (I always have to throw it in the air fryer ) Now the brother with the longer hair and a tad bit younger , also works the window a lot I have had no problem every time he cooks my food it’s on point I also get excited when I see him on the grill is he in more in the evening times but when I say my tacos have the right amount of crisp it’s just top tier The birria even taste good when you dip it in the bean juice so good

I removed one star only for the lack of consistency in the crispyneas of the food But the flavor is always 5stars crispy or not

So here is my review

Beans- they taste great and are complementary with your meal all you have to do is ask . The only con is you get more juice than beans even if you choose to purchase a large cup of beans it will still be mostly juice

$1 dollar tacos - great hey they a dollar how can you complain right . Meat is tender 90 percent of the time

Birria tacos - fire, make sure they crispy., try them with the bean juice 🤤

Chicken wing meal - bomb , like just good old school hot wings can’t go wrong with that and you get fries for under $10

Elote - good nice amount for the size I just wish they had lemon pepper...

For $1 tacos, you cannot beat the flavor and price. These are legitimate tacos! I am giving it 4 stars because sometimes there is plenty of meat in the tacos and sometimes there is very little.

They also only have a spicy sauce, no mild sauces although I do appreciate that they always have them on the side as well as the lime.

Service is getting 4 stars because one younger lady that works there is super nice and sweet and another older lady that works there is rude. There are no posted prices and I believe sometimes she up charges or purposely does not tell you how much the items are you are ordering. They do not offer itemized receipts.

Atmosphere gets a 3 because the truck is located in a gas station parking lot and it's not on the best side of town. The parking situation is whatever spaces or pumps are open when you arrive. If I park at a pump I make sure to get gas or buy something from their store. My other quarrel is that sometimes the orders can take a while and they don't have any chairs where you can just sit and wait so you have to sit in your car with the window cracked, letting all the cold air out, while you wait for your number to be called or stand outside in the heat.

I will say it again though, for $1 you can it beat these tacos. I eat here at...

Ate here 11/13 and got tacos for my entire household. A few hours later EVERYONE in my house was throwing up and going to the bathroom. We went to the emergency room and found out we had food poisoning. I used to eat here all the time, but I won’t be back after this. And then I called, and no one would answer the phone. And I know they were still open because I drove by on my way to the emergency room.

Decided to give the restaurant one last try on 11/16 because my daughter wanted a taco. I got my usual 5 to share with her. When I bit into the taco, there was a piece of paper/cardboard in my taco. When I took the tacos back, the worker claimed that it wasn’t possible for that to have happened, when I’m staring at a box sitting directly next to the grill. Baby I will be spreading the word like a wildfire to never come back here. YOU put paper in MY food and then tried to blame it on me? You gotta be...
