Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Houston

Been going there almost everyday since I moved to this side of town. Yesterday I went by there to get my usual and when I got home, I went for the Bavarian cream filled one. I bit into it and it was not filled with the custard but with a sugary icing. Tasted like a glob of fried sugar. I threw it in trash thinking a mistake on their end working early in the morning could been an innocent mishap I went back this morning to inform the staff of the issue, and the first Asian guy asked for the receipt which I didn't bring and I told him he could check his system I used my card. He went on to get another female who's attitude was disgusting. She asked for the donut from the day before and for the receipt. I told her I didn't ask for anything, but was informing her of the mistake. I should have been given the correct donut, but she acted like something like that was impossible to happen and I needed to provide her with hardcore evidence. I won't be going there anymore. Her...

This location deserves less than one star. We visited this location 9825 S. Mason Rd on 1/14/17 around 3:20pm. As soon as we walked walked in, the cashier didn't acknowledge us until I said hello. She continued to just stand there PLAYING WITH HER HAIR at counter, ignoring us. I asked if we place the order with her and she responded "yea, I'm just waiting for you." So I told her I wanted a dozen donuts, so she stopped playing with her hair and didn't wash her hands. While she was the packing the doughnuts, her hair was almost touching the donuts and then she put the Box against her mouth. Extremely unsanitary, rude,worst service at Shipley's and I have visited many locations before.

Unfortunately this is my second visit here and it's the same girl at the counter. If I had remembered I would NOT have returned.

I would highly advise a manager to have the staff wear hair nets and not play with their hair at the counter (where the donuts are stored) and actually provide...

I only visit twice customer service wasn't Good. On a resent visit they messed up my order. I got a dozen donuts and four jalapeno and cheese kolaches. I did not check the bag before I left I live very far and I only stopped at that location because of the convenience. Once I got home opened the box only had six donuts. I called to inform them that I was going to return and had to drive 20 to 30 minutes to return I asked for my money back and I still haven't received it . They had a guy working there that did not know where he was doing. Don't visit this location the customer service is bad and you need to check your food because wrong temperature and count...
