I have been frequenting Popeyes since i was a little kid and they were offering Popeye and Olive Oil Glasses with a two piece order. I have eaten from this franchises in six states and have had some unusual experiences but the food has bene consistent and I have generally walked away satisfied. I can not say the same anymore. I visited this location and was dumbfounded by the absence of service or more refusal of service, the cleanliness of the restaurant and its employees, as well as the lack of communication from ownership and management when they were contacted. I placed an order online and arrived for pick up to no one coming to the window as I stood in from of the glass while employees were having a conversation about what was happening at the house later and the fight they watched the night before. Four people passed me including what I later realized was the manager. The person in front of me was preparing three wraps without any gloves and was walking around touching people and laughing without a hair net. When I place myself closer to the window, the smell of weed permeated the space and asked the person if my pick up order was ready . The person never turned around and stated, "we will get to you in a minute." That minute turned into seven mor minutes and the came to the widow with the worst of attitudes and a roach crawled over the counter near the wraps. I promptly asked for a refund and he said he did not know how to refund. Who wants thier food touched by people who don't wear gloves and follow simple food prep guidelines. I asked for the manager and she came back with a shower cap on her head under a hair net reeking of dank marijuana smell and stated she did not know how to refund it and to contact customers service but did not know the number and walked away. I was able to contact customer services who only replied by email and attempted to call the district manager whose name, email and phone number was on the window. I called and it did not allow a voicemail. I emailed and never received a response. I asked customer service for a call back from the district manager and have never received that call. For your own health and sanity, Please avoid eating at this restaurant where hygiene and cleanliness seems...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreII had a HORRIBLE experience here...lazy shiftless workers that do not know how to count change..I didn't get all of my change and refused to turn back around to get it cuz it just wasn't worth returning to that horrible place, getting away & staying away was far better for me; The food was dry and stale with brick hard bread on my sandwich & a smidgen of sauce on it..I asked for condiments & got none & no napkins...I just couldn't deal with them anymore so I left the drive thru cuz it was worth getting away PERIOD they run out of sides constantly & don't give a flip..I threw the food away after a few bites cuz it wasn't edible. They rushed you as you ordered all just to get hard stale food....ratchet ghetto slugs with no skills!!! If you live in this area, PLEASE drive farther out away from your neighborhood to another Popeyes to avoid this one...Beware of this location, I wouldn't take my dog there to eat. They have had countless negative reviews and the manager nor the regional manager cares at all so they must be stubborn and sorry as the staff...so what is corporate doing about this monstrosity of a store? The workers here have the attitude that they aren't changing for Nobody and that is is our problem..they rather play around, complain about customers, and rush customers so they can probably get to the clubs on time for lady's night so they can twerk...I'm taking a laxative to get rid of this junk out of my stomach & take some probiotics to comfort my stomach...don't come here at all!!!!!!!!! It's obvious that the management is shiftless & sorry as the staff cuz they feel comfortable with it...get all new staff or something..can't you guys see that they are running down this store..do something before you end up on the news with food poisoning cases from shifless staff & trifling workers who half...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere was a middle-aged lovely lady serving me, and this was on a Sunday. She was quite delightful š with greeting me frm the order speaker and repeated my order before leaving to drive to the pickup window. She greeted me face to face, servicing with a smile š and told me all of my condiments, silverware, and napkins were inside the bag alongside my large family order & to enjoy my Sunday evening!!š I was so surprised š® and happy like a baby duck getting his first dip in the water!! I thanked this lady like 3 times and wished her a Happy New Year 2024.....Seriously!! I actually can say this chicken and the side orders were piping hot and flavorful for the first time in some years. Routinely, every Popeyes all over Houston/Katy have the very young I call the (toddlers) working and everytime you drop in during the early to mid-day to place an order and it gets mixed up in the fix-up on que š!! Aways checking my bag before I leave & the order is wrong, no condiments, no silverware and no napkins!! Then I have to return to the window or go inside the restaurant to verbally "REPEAT THE WORDS COMING OUTTA MY MOUTH REORDER "and while you're getting my order together please give me napkins, condiments such as blackened ranch sauce, ketchups, honey, hotsauce and silverware". Gotta repeat this once more when the order is finished. I completely understand that these young toddlers must be given the opportunity to train and work, but as toddlers, their minds wander and don't always focus on the task set in front of them. Seasoned or older people don't have to be told, but once needless to say and the task effectively gets done. Currently, I noticed that the seasoned and older people work the evening and night shift. Therefore, It's the evening and night ordering for me!! šš¾...
