It was pretty dead on this celebratory day of father's, but you won't hear me complain about that or anything really when it comes to this superb little gem. I had the Grilled Pork half Bahn Mi w/a side of Yellow Beef Curry&Rice and a Java Pura Cold Brew w/caramel, no ice.

My initial concern was the small-size of the Bahn Mi, as I have never seen one that small growing up and still living in Houston, yet any trepidation was quickly removed and replaced by bliss via cuisine quality.

The daily-made bread was a perfect balance of crispy, flaky outside with a fluffy inside enhanced by the crunch of the fresh cucumbers, carrots, & jalapeños. The coup de grace was juicy, flavorful, unique yet familiar pork that makes this sandwich an immediate favorite.

Next, the yellow beef curry would also be getting a "just right" praise from Goldilocks herself. The slightest tinge of spice that lingers yet doesn't leave you regretful with tender beef chunks and rice that's now completely enriched by the creamy, yellow curry.

Finally, the cold brew w/caramel was a flawless treat before, during, and (mostly) after the carbs&protiens that left me both satisfied and already planning my next...

Food tastes great, ordered the box and all was delicious. However, prior to receiving my food, I received a buzzer to notify me when my food was ready. Well it kept beeping, the employees had a puzzled look as to why I went up there twice to get my food, it was apparently malfunctioning, I asked if they could just yell out the number once ready. Instead they gave me another number, that one also kept vibrating, anyway, food was finally ready. I went back up there to purchase an additional sauce, as the sweet chili is so good, the menu on their screen shows .99 for sauce, I went to pay and it was ringing up at $1.50, its $1.62 after taxes, I asked the employee why the discrepancy, he said it’s wrong on their big screen menu. I was already upset over the buzzer thing earlier, so I asked to speak to the manager, it was the same young lady that wasn’t understanding why I kept going up to get my food when the buzzer was vibrating. She said that’s the price and so be it. So yes, this half bad review is over their .50 cent price discrepancy, if the mistake is on your end as a business the least you could do is fix it. Walked in here on a Sunday morning and there was no wait. I placed my order with the staff and I was given a buzzer to let me know when my order was ready. It took about 5 minutes or less to get my order.

Before I could even taste it, everything looked delicious. I was super happy they have a combo option because that way I could try their other food items. I don't mind having half a sandwich because the fries were enough with it. The banh mi was amazing! From the bread to the ingredients, I was extremely impressed. The meat and fresh vegetables were a good ratio. The garlic aioli mayo/butter was tasty. The bread, oh my goodness the bread! The bread was the highlight of the banh mi. The inside was soft while the outside was warm and toasted perfectly. I can rarely find a place that serves you fresh bread like they do here. The sidewinder fries were made by order so it came out hot and crispy fried; just the way I like it! My favorite was the Special! I liked the grilled Pork, too. The lychee tea was refillable and that was awesome.

There was plenty of space to move around and seats were available outside...
