I was taking my dog out for a walk and decided to go grab a coffee at Teapresso to support local businesses. As soon as I walked through the door with my weenie dog, I was greeted with a frown by the owner. I was told “they don’t allow dogs in the store” to which I replied “Could I order something really quick then head out?” He hesitantly said “Yeah, I love dogs too but I don’t want to get closed down by the City of Houston.” I said “I understand, it’ll be two seconds.” I placed my order and paid and as I was walking towards the empty standing area to wait for my coffee, he kicked me out saying “I’ll bring out your coffee.” The passive aggressiveness really turned my morning sour. I was the only one in the establishment trying to support it, but the customer service went from...

The staff seem really great and personable. This is my first time going and I’m sad to say my bubble tea experience was disappointing. Because the staff and environment is so great, I am going to chalk it up to the fact that I came during a rush - around 5:30pm after work- so I ended up waiting 20 mins for my drink (which would have been ok; I understand they’re working hard to attend to everyone), but my drink was really flavorless and watered down. The only tasty thing in it was the sweetness of the boba. It was a loong wait and I lost $6.. Wish it had been a better experience. I would recommend going when it’s not a rush so you can hopefully get your money’s worth.
